Play on phone doesnt work, when I try and use play on phone, I get the following error in the exchange box event log: An outbound call to sip:5203@10.1.1.15;user=phone couldn't be established. The selected outbound gateway "(PBXnSIP 10.1.1.15:5060 outbound=True secured=False)" returned the error "401 Authentication Required". The caller ID used for this call was 'sip:5203@NCCPTWS015.netcash.co.za;user=phone'. Contact the vendors who support your VoIP gateway and IP PBX hardware for help troubleshooting the SIP response error code specified in the event description. You can also run diagnostic tests on your VoIP gateway or IP PBX hardware to make sure the devices are operational. Additional information: A SIP request has failed. The current operation is 'Opening'. The session state is 'Connecting'. The remote participant is 'sip:5203@10.1.1.15;user=phone'. The response code was '401'. The response text was 'Authentication Required'. we are using pbxnsip version 4. Any ideas? Vodia PBX Posted August 11, 2010 Report Share Posted August 11, 2010 Yea, we have an Exchange 2010 installed, even did a few tests. But as you said, there are still some things remaining open. We need to keep this topic open; however right now we are working on a couple of things that make such tests difficult/useless. I would say, retry-after: 1 week. Rudi Groenewald Posted August 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 12, 2010 oh...ok... so... should I try reposting after 1 week.... ? o_O also another problem I have is this: When calling an extention which is not registered to a phone (phone is off etc) then it goes to exchange directly, prompting the user to leave a voicemail, which is what it's supposed to do, but for some reason on no answer (after 20 seconds), the pbx is not transferring to exchange and only gives timeout message "The person you are calling is unavailable" any ideas?
