pbx support

Recommended Posts

All,

We released first version of snom ONE(4.2.0.3958) during Oct 2010. After some good feedback from the you folks, we worked hard to fix most of the defects reported. The result of that is the latest bug fix release(4.2.0.3981).

For details such as release notes, downloads, upgrade procedure etc, please refer the below link

Thank you everyone and greatly appreciating the cooperation!

Hi,

Is there a pbxnsip upgrade available too ?

Is it, by the way, possible to convert a pbxnsip licence to a Snomone licence. Since (almost) all my phones are Snom, Snomone Yellow would be great to me.

Regards,

Marc

this file isn't working:

http://downloads.snom.net/snomONE/centos64/snomone-CentOS5-x64.bin

:(

# snom m9 firmware update.

# Registrations to third-party devices (e.g., SIP phones, SIP cameras, softphones, etc.) have been increased: snom ONE free supports 5 third-party devices, snom ONE yellow supports 10, and blue supports 40.

# New addition of snom ONE is available: snom ONE green (includes call support for third-party devices).

this seem realy great!! :)

We are on 2011-4.2.0.3981 (x64) at one location for about 16hrs and seems to be working good. There are 169 extensions on the system with lite call load.

I'm curious if 3981 fixed a leak by any chance? It seemed before 3981 the RAMmemory would slowing continue climbing. If load would go up, RAM used would too, but it didn't appear to come back down.

In any case, good soo far.

Yes, you can use your pbxnsip key with snom ONE. You will get the snom ONE limitations on non-snom devices though.

That sounds really interesting. What about an Office Pro 25? Which Version of Snom One I will get with that key? And, are Dongle-Licenses supported by Snom One?

Lucas

There is a slight problem with the new version, at least on the Debian build.

The pnp.xml seems to be malformed, at least the version viewable through the Web Page Control tab. It truncates in the fifth "file" section at:

  <file name="snom_3xx.xml" encoding="xml">
   <pattern>snom3?0-############.htm</pattern>
   <vendor>snom</vendor>
   <protocol>tftp,http,https</protocol>
   <pnp-vendor>snom</pnp-vendor>
   <pnp-model>snom3[026]0</pnp-model>
   <pnp-version>^6</pnp-version>
   <pnp-content-type>application/url</pnp-content-type>
   <pnp-url>http://provisioning.snom.com/update6t

And that's it... it just stops. Restoring "default" has no change, and trying to manually enter the missing segments of the file and save has no effect. The save button doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Any ideas?

[EDIT] I figured out the problem... it looks like the text display field in Web Page Control truncates at 4096 characters, and throws away anything that comes after that. The files themselves are ok as long as you don't attempt to edit, but if you do attempt to save a file that has been truncated, even without editing anything, it breaks the file because it is saving a broken/truncated version of the file over the original. The "restore default" button is probably working, but on long files it has no effect because the field it's loading the text into is still truncating the data before it saves.

I have submitted a bug report, ticket ID 20110204794.

The problem happens only on FireFox here. We are able to load it successfully every time with IE & Chrome. Even on the FF, it receives the full file, but displays on part of it.

Really? That is bizarre.

There is an existing bug report on http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ that may be relevant, bug 194231. They have a workaround for the behavior but it's apparently a known issue. It's probably worth chiming in on the bug report, though.

Thanks!
