Here is the preview version of next week's update release. Only Win32 and Cent OS 32 are available now. Any feedback will be appreciated

Win32 - http://downloads.snom.net/snomONE/win32/v4.5/pbxctrl-2011-4.5.0.1012.exe

Cent OS 32 - http://downloads.snom.net/snomONE/centos32/v4.5/pbxctrl-centos5-2011-4.5.0.1012

Release notes

  • Added cdrid to cobjs table, so that we can correlate all the call legs with the same primary call id. Useful for attended transfers and transfer on transfers.
  • Call-Info/Intercom Header issue cleanup - interworking with the latest snom phone versions.
  • Fixed the "music does not stop issue" when the call is blind transferred to a conference.
  • Conference music is optional now, added "None" option for the backward compatibility.
  • SONE-51 - Play a message before starting the call recording. Customer needs to record & keep "$a/bi_recording.wav" file.
  • Fixed: MAC address binding using * or ? Was broken on the HEAD
  • Paging: List the pending pages & option to delete the pending pages.
  • Paging: Support for 'playpage.wav" to instruct the PBX to play a prerecorded message using a paging group. The example syntax is http://localhost/playpage.wav?user=45@localhost&auth=45@localhost:45&dest=75&file=aa_callback.wav". The message has to be placed under the 'recordings' folder.
  • Fix: Park orbit can take only 1 call, 2nd call should fail (not Disconnect). You can dial the park orbit to pick up the call too or you can use star code to pick up the call as usual.
  • CDR hold duration (merge from v4)
  • Block call id fix. It was broken on the HEAD.
  • Phone requires check-sync;reboot=true, in order to reboot the phone.
  • Customer specific header support : SONE-157. Syntax is HeaderName: Content. Example: x-snom: {ext-ani}

Thank you.

Hi

Thank You for the preview version

1. By Administrator Permission section a new option was added to allow a ext user access to the whole system

The problem is when the system administrator gives permission to a user to have domain access the domain user can now log in and change his permission for whole system

2. By Number ACD groups this extension can log into theirs opinion 1 or unlimited

How will this work , when we *64 and my ext number is in 3 agents groups (ACD) will the system ask to what ACD to you want to login ?

if yes please add the option by the ext level 1-10 ( now theirs only opinion 1 or unlimited)

3.will this version use multi core processor?

4. do you have a preview version of the pbxnsip version that allows snom , polycom , aastra (will it be released the same time as the someone version ?)

Thank you

Remote Party/Privacy Indication issue:

I would like to describe the "From" and "To" fields of the INVITE, sended over a Trunk for a call request to the Provider (in these case T-Online):

The proper situation under release 2011-4.3.0.5021 with the choice "Remote-Party-ID":

From: "0301234567" <sip:0301234567@tel.t-online.de>;tag=987246357
 SIP Display info: "0301234567"
 SIP from address: sip:0301234567@tel.t-online.de
...
To: <sip:08003301000@tel.t-online.de;user=phone>

The malfunctional situation under beta 2011-4.5.0.1005 with the same choice "Remote-Party-ID":

From: "Peter Lustig" <sip:11@pbx.lan.intern>;tag=779757346
 SIP Display info: "Peter Lustig"
 SIP from address: sip:11@pbx.lan.intern
...
To: <sip:08003301000@pbx.lan.intern;user=phone>

Because, that gives a "400" from the provider site due to the fact of wrong user identification.

To chuse "Custom Headers" and build with "Trunk ANI" and "Privacy Indication" a proper "From" and "To" field seems to be a workaround:

"Trunk ANI:" = 0301234567@tel.t-online.de

"From:" = Trunk ANI

"To:" = Same as Request-URI

"Privacy Indication:" = Other : 0301234567

results in:

From: "0301234567" <sip:0301234567@tel.t-online.de>;tag=924683542
   SIP from address: sip:0301234567@tel.t-online.de
...
To: <sip:08003301000@tel.t-online.de;user=phone>

But, the "SIP Display info: "0301234567" line in trace is missing; never the less the CallID is shown on the other end...

Is it an advised behavior?

BR,

Peter ;-)

Looks like the flexibility comes with bit of pain

I am not sure if you had already taken a look at the http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Trunk_Custom_Headers page. It explains different tags that you can set on these fields. You can look at the "The other option" section to see an example. Basically, you can construct anything you want using those tags.

Certainly, I taked a look; but my intension was to say: The choice of "Remote-Party-ID" doesn't work as befor and how I can configure a workaround (with the new possibilities of Custom Headers) until you correct it to the formally behavior.
