Since the router does not support option 66 (it is a MicroTIK routerboard 750) and the switch may not help with multicast (it is a TP Link TL-SG1008P) I went for what I though would be a sure shot, the manual plug and play (which in a LAN, should work). Unfortunately, the 710 could not do pluy and play. The remote pone seems to find the pbx and the pbx seems to send the right files, but the pone does not react to that. I tried putting the pone in the DMZ, also port forwarding on the side of the pone and even deactivating the firewall on the side of the pone but none of those actions seem to help. Carlos Montemayor Posted July 22, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2013 In the LAN, PnP worked wonderfully using the manual method (option 66 was not available and multicast did not worked). I have 5 710s in the LAN that achieved PnP through the manual method. Here in the remote station is where I just cannot do it. The request seems to arrive to the PBX, and the PBX responds sending the files, but suddenly, somewhere in the process the flow stops and there is no PnP. I figure it is something in the router of the remote phone, but I have tried turning off and on ALG, using the DMZ, turning the firewall off and also port forwarding to the phone (ports 80. 5060 and 5061). I have tried every combination of those things and none does the trick. Will you try a remote 710? If you PM me its mac address I could set an extension for it. Regards. Vodia PBX Posted July 22, 2013 Report Share Posted July 22, 2013 Plug and play is don't using HTTP; I doubt that the phone router is blocking it (my only idea would be that it blocks the request because it does not trust the PBX certificate). You can try this easily by entering the URL in your PC browser and see if you can load the document. I bet it times out like it does on the phone. I would review how the HTTP and HTTPS requests are being routed by the PBX router. Maybe you have forgotten to port forward 443. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That is how I get to see the log file of the PBX and see the request from the phone and that a file is been sent from the pbx to the phone.
