  1. I use a near free solution from http://www.pikatechnologies.com/english/View.asp?x=539 that works with Asterisk. I wrote a PHP script that converts the tiff to PDF and emails it off as an attachment. FYI: I use Asterisk 1.4.22 as my media gateway for pbxnsip with a Sangnoma PRI card and it works perfectly (along with Pika's software fax DSP too). If you need the PHP script and my extensions.conf section that makes it all work, let me know and I can post it.
  2. I have way too much activity on my system to be able to produce a useful log file. I will PM you.
  3. The very first post is the log file for this (not the same call but the same situation). The trace is on the pbxnsip server using ngrep, not from the phone. I don't understand what else you need from me. If you would like I can register my 2 phones to a test pbxnsip sever over the Internet (I am assuming you have one setup that way) and you could see whatever you need to see on your own server.
  4. From what I can tell pbxnsip is initiating the disconnect. See below for the trace. 192.168.1.100:8790 = Grandstream GXP2000 (originates the call to agent group 1 but could have been any other phone or PSTN call) 192.168.1.100:48536 = Aastra 480i (the agent in the agent group) 192.168.1.199 = pbxnsip U +3.658095 192.168.1.100:8790 -> 192.168.1.199:5060 INVITE sip:1@omnilec.omnilec.com SIP/2.0. 5. Thank you, that worked great. It would be nice if there was a way to send the message to an unavailable vs. a busy message for voice mail, kind of like you can with FreePBX. Something to the effect of 8XXX for unavailable and 88XXX for busy I would think would work out pretty well for at least my application. Thank you
  6. OK, I verified that the transfer works perfectly when done as an unattended transfer but not as an attendant transfer. However, on an Aastra phone, when hitting transfer and then a BLF/speed dial, even though it immediately transfers the call, the phone must be doing an attendant transfer because it still has the problem. While the behavior of the BLF/speed dial transfer is a flaw in the Aastra firmware it really shouldn't matter because you should be able to do it either way. Any idea on when this will be fixed? 3.1?
  7. I have a customer who has his main number routing into an agent group. The agent group also has a time condition based service flag on it for his normal business hours that sends the customer to his after hours voice mail box when he is closed. They would also like something that would allow them to close their store for lunch and have a different voice mail greeting played for that situation but ideally still have the same voice mail box store the messages. Keep in mind I don't want to give admin access to his account and I want this to be done somehow through the phones or user web interface and not the web admin interface. I have 2 configuration problems that I can't figure out: 1. How can I have 2 service flags on the agent group, one that is time based and one that can be toggled so that he can force his business to be closed in the middle of the day irregardless of what the time condition says. 2. Assuming I can get #1 above to work, how can I get the voice mail box to play a different announcement than normal? The best thing I could come up with was to have his main phone number as an extension with an always call forward to his agent group. Whenever he wanted to go to lunch he would point the call forward to the voice mail account of his choice. This seems kind of silly to have to do it this way and I would think it should be able to be done with the service flags. Thanks
  8. I have a doctor's office that is having a very annoying problem with Agent Groups that can be reproduced every time. A call comes in from the PSTN into a ring group (the front desk area). Someone answers the phone and then they want to transfer the call to the Agent Group for the optical department (3 phones in the group). Two problems happen: 1. The customer hears dead air instead of on hold music when the call is transferred until someone in the optical department answers. 2. Once the call is answered by the optical department the other 2 phones continue to ring until someone picks them up (they hear dead air) and hangs them back up. This happens 100% of the time and can be easily reproduced. This can also be reproduced by having a ring group that's final stage is to go to an Agent Group however the caller hears the on hold music like they should. If you call the Agent Group directly from any extension directly it works correctly. It has something to do with being in a hunt group first from what I can tell.
  9. I attached the log in the first post. No idea what most of it means, I was hoping it showed you what you needed.
  10. It is the default of "Entering the agent group". What should I set it to so that the caller hears music on hold indefinitely until and agent answers the phone, even if it takes 30 min for the agent to answer? If it matters I also have "Ringback tone" set to "No ringback tone, continue playing music". Thank you
  11. Whatever I set the gap time to the the first message plays in half the time of what it should instead of waiting the full gap time. Perhaps this is the planned behavior by the developers but neither the web interface or wiki say that it should do this on the first time playing the *1 message. After the first message is played the gap time is honored by the system at its full value. Also, after ~120 seconds the call drops and hangs up on the caller. This happens on 100% of the calls into the agent group. 12. Is there a way to not only have your cell phone called but to have other additional numbers called for your extension such as a non-VoIP office line at the same time as the cell phone without setting up a ring group?
  13. Ah I see, I *only* tried it from my cell phone and never tried it from another line that wasn't programmed in the system i.e. a land line. Interesting feature, but just so I know, is there a way to turn it off?
  14. I am evaluating the system and have version 3.0.0.2998 with the 3 min. license. I am trying to duplicate our existing PBX system and I am getting a strange behavior with the IVR menu when called from the PSTN, but not from an extension on the pbxnsip server. I created an account with a primary name of 10 and an alias of a PSTN phone number that is being sent to the system. When I call 10 or the PSTN number from an internal extension it plays my recording and woks as expected (including my night/day service flag). However, when I call the PSTN number from my cell phone I get a message that says "To place an outbound call press 1, to go to your mailbox press 2, to go to the auto attendant press 3" instead of my recording. Besides that it should have played my recording instead of that system message, when I press 3 it plays my recording but it ignores the day night setting and never plays the other message. So it looks like I may have 2 things messed up in the config and I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Mike
