  1. It is nice to have an Android app but not to have an Apple App is a big hole. Anyone else agree?

    quintum tenor ax series

It should be no different than any other gateway. I am assuming you know how to configure the tenor to listen for calls. Once you get it on the network all you should have to do is create a gateway trunk in the PBX and put in the IP address of the gateway in the domain and the outbound proxy field and then create a simple dial plan that has pattern * replacement * and select the tenor gateway trunk and we will route calls to it.

    Out of the Box Issues

Who did you purchase the system from? Normally the reseller will help the purchaser with install issues. The manual came out before the plus and needs to be updated. Did you look at wiki.snomone.com since that is fresher. The online training will be launched any time now and that should help fill in the blanks.

Dial through PSTN line from external number

what about using a calling card account? Would that work? So they call the AA then the CC extension and they can then make an outbound call once they are authenticated.

    How to set up DID

The alias field isn't used to match the inbound calls you have to set the account number field for that. So if your account number is 40 and your DID is 5551212 you would put 40 5551212 in the account number field.

    SMTP: Cannot resolve

If you still are having problems turn on email logging and turn everything else off and set the log level to 8 and then go into the domain and click try next to midnight events and post the log file for some clues.

    Inter-Office Trunk, Charging Vector?

Interoffice trunk is used if you connect two systems together and they both have similar extensions. i.e. the conference rooms at both branches use extension 500. So if the pbx sees a request from 500 it will try to authenticate it however if it is a call from the other conference room to an extension then the authentication will fail however if we determine the call is coming from an interoffice trunk then we won't challenge the call. http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3455.txt has the gory details on the charging vector!

    TAPI / Terminalserver

If your dialing from outlook give this a try http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=The_snom_phone_application since TAPI dialing can be cumbersome. If you have an ATA that supports T.38 we will relay it as long as the other side supports T.38 as well.

    hunt mobile phones

There is a setting in the extension redirection to forward calls when not registered that may work if you already set the setting in that same tab to forward to cell in a hunt group. The behavior changes when the phone is not registered.

    BLF Configuration

the name should be the key or button number so it should be 1,2,3, or 4 on the 821. The parameter I usually just put in the extension number 101 and don't need the whole string.

have to restart SnomOne every other day

Can you take a look at how much memory is in use before you restart it next time? How busy is the system? i.e. how many calls and how many registered users. Are you using TLS/TCP? The status screen would be helpful. Are you restarting it because it is not responding to SIP requests? Is the web responsive?

    Inbound handling

    It does it is called the line parameter. In the registration request the pbx sends this as a tag and on every invite coming into the pbx it should have this parameter so the pbx knows exactly where to send the call. These examples are different calls so the values are different in the line field. INVITE sip:101@10.1.1.129:2048;line=kxp3po6w SIP/2.0 Contact: <sip:2404982364@10.20.91.50:5060;transport=udp;line=a87ff679>;

    Address Book

Did you get the polycom to do PnP with snomone? That would be the only way to get the address book pushed down.
