  1. It is nice to have an Android app but not to have an Apple App is a big hole. Anyone else agree?
  2. It should be no different than any other gateway. I am assuming you know how to configure the tenor to listen for calls. Once you get it on the network all you should have to do is create a gateway trunk in the PBX and put in the IP address of the gateway in the domain and the outbound proxy field and then create a simple dial plan that has pattern * replacement * and select the tenor gateway trunk and we will route calls to it.
  3. Who did you purchase the system from? Normally the reseller will help the purchaser with install issues. The manual came out before the plus and needs to be updated. Did you look at wiki.snomone.com since that is fresher. The online training will be launched any time now and that should help fill in the blanks.
  4. what about using a calling card account? Would that work? So they call the AA then the CC extension and they can then make an outbound call once they are authenticated.
  5. The alias field isn't used to match the inbound calls you have to set the account number field for that. So if your account number is 40 and your DID is 5551212 you would put 40 5551212 in the account number field.
  6. If you still are having problems turn on email logging and turn everything else off and set the log level to 8 and then go into the domain and click try next to midnight events and post the log file for some clues.
  7. What version are you running? Did you try to say your name and just hang up?
  8. If you want some really good ACD information i.e. commercial grade check out call scout. http://www.vertical.com.co/vertical/EN/callScout.html
  9. Interoffice trunk is used if you connect two systems together and they both have similar extensions. i.e. the conference rooms at both branches use extension 500. So if the pbx sees a request from 500 it will try to authenticate it however if it is a call from the other conference room to an extension then the authentication will fail however if we determine the call is coming from an interoffice trunk then we won't challenge the call. http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3455.txt has the gory details on the charging vector!
  10. If your dialing from outlook give this a try http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=The_snom_phone_application since TAPI dialing can be cumbersome. If you have an ATA that supports T.38 we will relay it as long as the other side supports T.38 as well.
  11. There is a setting in the extension redirection to forward calls when not registered that may work if you already set the setting in that same tab to forward to cell in a hunt group. The behavior changes when the phone is not registered.
  12. the name should be the key or button number so it should be 1,2,3, or 4 on the 821. The parameter I usually just put in the extension number 101 and don't need the whole string.
  13. Can you take a look at how much memory is in use before you restart it next time? How busy is the system? i.e. how many calls and how many registered users. Are you using TLS/TCP? The status screen would be helpful. Are you restarting it because it is not responding to SIP requests? Is the web responsive?
  14. It does it is called the line parameter. In the registration request the pbx sends this as a tag and on every invite coming into the pbx it should have this parameter so the pbx knows exactly where to send the call. These examples are different calls so the values are different in the line field. 15. Did you get the polycom to do PnP with snomone? That would be the only way to get the address book pushed down.
  16. feature 1) *64 should log the agent in and out all all the queues they are in. *64 plus the queue should log them in/out of that queue. Not sure why that wouldn't work. If you use a snom 320/360 or 370 you have 12 buttons that you could use to to assign the button to the particular queue. What phones are you planning on using? feature 2) Currently you can specify a queue priority so if you do have multiple agents in multiple queues you can make sure your agents are answering the emergency calls. *64 will log them in to all of them feature 3)I don't think you want to give the agent's ability to turn off call recording. We support add hoc recording but then they would have to turn it on. feature 4)We don't limit the queues so why not have 500 ACD's if you need to customize each one. It may not be the best solution but not sure how else we could do it easily. How about front ending the ACD with an Auto Attendant. Feature 5) Currently we don't look at time in queue just who is in the queue. We could add time but then to compare that against queues would add some more complexity. I would contact a snom sales person if you want to pursue this more. Most of the features in the ACD queue came from customer requests.
  17. We aren't an asterisks based pbx so not sure how much help we will be in that regard. You could purchase a snom one plus with a BRI card in it and it will do what you want it to.
  18. If the wiki page does not help can you attach a couple pcap traces where one is outbound that does not work and one is inbound. thanks,
  19. What does the channel status show? Are the B channels idle or in service? You can chat directly with Sangoma support at http://wiki.sangoma.com/SangomaTechSupport for live help. Sounds like there is some initialization/config issue. Strange how it works one way but not the other.
  20. Yes we have them translated properly now and are in the process of scheduling time to get them recorded. If there are other ones that need to be in the drop down for the auto attendant now would be a good time to add them.
  21. Google translate was not good to me on this one! You are trying to do PnP with an M9 and one handset registers and the other handset didn't? Or are you using two base stations? Normally I would put the mac address under each extension and then PnP will take care of it. Did you try that? Send some more info and we will try to figure it out.
  22. Hi, yes the sangoma card supports NI2 and ESF. I thought it was 23B+D. Do you not want to activate all of the channels? It shouldn't be a problem to deactivate one if needed they are very flexible with the config files.
  23. Hi, If you don't need to use speed dials then don't put them in the header instead of just leaving them blank and it should work fine. If that doesn't work set the log level to 8 and clear it after reloading the CSV see if you have any clues in there. I attached a teaching aid that is used in the training classes. DomainAddressBook.txt
  24. Can you get some better logging? The snippet you attached doesn't have much useful info. I am not sure if this was available in v3 but in the newer versions you can get tftp and pnp events, I would also turn on http events. If you are really stuck then get wireshark trace and we can comb through it to see if the phone is logging in successfully. I tested it way back when and it worked fine. Are you running 3.4?
