nukepuppy
http://wiki1.pbxnsip.com/wiki/index.php/Automatic_Recording for pbxnsip 1.5 says that automatic recordings are possible yet the configuration settings are not available as per the documentation suggests.. this was using the latest 1.5.x release off the website on a linux installation... the automatic recordings are pretty important for a specific client we will be using. If anyone could provide some insight on where this setting is supposed to be?

Vodia PBX
Well well. That feature is very problematic in many ways. If the call lasts for one hour, we are talking about 6 MB attachments. Only snom phones have a record button yet. DTMF has the problem that the other side hears this. If the call is already being recorded, we will end up with two (or more!) files. That is actually the biggest problem right now. Not talking about legal problems here. I guess we have to revisit this topic in 2.1... brandywinetech.com
So we cannot even record the files to disk and have them listened to afterwards by an administrator of a domain? the 2.1 version has the overhauled recording, per trunk or user automatically ... no buttons necessary and keeps them available on the file system for easy retrieval and archiving .. But, alas the overhauled price as well .. yori
