Dar @ Helia
Our trunk providers require outbound calls to use a callerID number registered with the ITSP. If a call is made with a DID that doesn't belong to the ITSP, the call is rejected with a forbidden or not authorized. Can calls to tethered cell phones force the trunk ANI on the call? pbx support
The order in which the snomONE uses the ANI for outbound caller id is - - Extension ANI - Domain ANI - Trunk ANI. So, if you do not have any ANI set for extension and domain, then you can set the provider supplied DID as trunk ANI. That should take care of your question. Dar @ Helia
I've added the ANI in at the domain and extension level but still get a failure. It seems to be the Remote-Party=ID header of the Invite Remote-Party-ID: <sip:4032551591@voice.heliatool.com;user=phone> Is there a way to force this to not be the ANI/Caller-ID of the originating caller? Vodia PBX
Since version 4.5, you can put whatever you like into the Remote-Party-ID header, e.g. just something like <sip:nice-day@voice.heliatool.com;user=phone>. http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Trunk_Custom_Headers has a list of available macros, but you can also just put text there without macros.
