  1. Hi. (sorry typo in the title) I have 2 extensions (10 and 11), both identical (they where renamed from 40 and 41), all same details. However from a 3CX phone on a system (and iPhone), i cant log in to 10, however i can login to 11, the actual error seems to be "SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden". Why would extension 10 be bad? i can delete and re-create, however would like to know why it did this? what log file can i look at, is there a black listed IP address? This really is this simple, if i take 3CX and change the ID and Extenstion from 10 to 11, same passwords, then it works fine. Ive tried changing the passwords on the server (both extensions as a good test), still 11 works and 10 doesn’t.... ideas? Heres the log for 10... ...::: NOTE 22 lines down "SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden" why is this? / the working one says "SIP/2.0 401 Authentication Required" :::... 2. UPDATE Extension 11 is fine, this was extention 10 playing up.... so before i delete it, why is it not letting me in? spent a good few hours, cant find anything in any log files about this? how do i check why extension 10 will not allow this softphone to log in? (there the same passwords, i set them both). Many Thanks Ashley
  3. Hi So i removed 3CX server, and put ONE free on, i managed to get 3CX soft phone to log in to ONE free at work same PC), however i seem to have an issue here... A - PC (with 3CX softphone) is XP64bit B - VMWare server is XP 32 bit with standard install (activated) for ONE free C - 2008 64bit with standard install (activated) for ONE free Heres the thing, i created 2 profiles in the 3CX software to connect to an extension "10", it connects perfect in the VMware version (, however says authentication failed in the 2008 64bit. Ive checked just about everything, i cant see why its doing this. Before you ask ALL firewalls are off. I did notice one thing, the DOMAIN has to be localhost (not sure why, bound to be something about an IP address issue). Ive posted both logs here (ive just thought, 2008 has IP version 6 as well, how do i manage this with regards ONE free???? (as a double check i tested this with a laptop (wireless) outside the VMware and 2008, it was identical, able to connected to the VMware system but not the 2008, he 2008 on all 3CX phones says "authentication failed", ive changed the passwords and its not that).. Machine C (Server 2008 64bit) - not working ...::: NOTE 22 lines down "SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden" why is this? / the working one says "SIP/2.0 401 Authentication Required" :::... 4. Thanks, found the location (its under ADMIN when you first install it which vanishes once you have done this). It now has loads more buttns, will play over the weekend (might remove 3CX Server as well for a proper play). Is there a location i need for port opening and forwading (documentation)? Many Thanks Ashley
  5. FIXED (not sure how yet). Removed 3CX, however i found a file in the root of the program folder had a fatal error about not able to open port 80, so i moved it to 81 in the pbx.xml file, its now working (on port 81). Will check on this on the other PC as wlel (XP) to see if it works. Thanks for the pointer.
  6. Both boxes have 3CX soft phone installed, will this create an issue.
  7. Hi all. Downloaded the 32bit version and tried on XP on VMWARE, went like a dream, downloaded the 64bit version to try on real Windows x64 from http://downloads.snom.net/snomONE/win64/snomone-win64-installer.zip Tried this at home (XP 64bit), the actual application crashes, the service is installed though. Downloaded again at work (different internet connection), identical problem on Windows 7 64bit (used Run as Administrator to install as well). Is there an issue with the 64bit version of the one hosted on the site? Ive un-installed the 64bit version on the Windows 7 box, and installed 32bit version, the service installs and runs but cant get a webpage (by design?) as its not 64bit software install? (this same 32bit version works on XP32 bit in a VMware box). Many Thanks Ashley
  8. Hi all Ive been testing a number of VOIP servers, most of the free ones on Asterisk are abit quirky, however been using 3CX server (isnt bad), come accross SNOM ONE. Downloaded (Windows 32bit 2011-4.2.0.3981), installed, nice and easy... however ive been trying to add the 3CX softphone to it, and the log file says: [1] 2011/06/24 00:27:17: TCP: TOS could not be set, code 0 [0] 2011/06/24 00:27:17: Cannot send packet: No license So is this software really "free" as it says no license? I cant find anywhere to buy anything for this? i want to test it with the voip service i have and the softphones (3CX) before i go wading it with hardware. Also i assume this will work with other SIP phones or is the mainly SNOM hardware only server? I notice the version i have (latest, downloaded today) doesnt seem to have all the logging of the SNOM BLUE and YELLOW as i can only see the log inside the webpage, not in a file.... ideas please? Also the low down with differences between the hardware boxes and the ONE "free?" software. Many Thanks Ashley
