  1. I just reinstalled PBXNSIP version 3.2.0.3144 (Win32). I'm using Linksys SPA942 phones. All the phones are registered with the PBX and they receive inbound calls. However when I attempt to dial from any of the phones it says UserDoesNotExist. I assume this message is related to the dial plan but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. The current dial plan is Pref=200 Trunk=main Pattern=* Replacement=[blank] Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. What ports did you open on the Server 2008 firewall? Just ports 5060 and 5061? Thanks in advance for the help.
  3. Hello, I’m having a problem with getting reliable inbound connections. Hardware/software details: PBXnSIP v2.1.14.2498 (Win32) (Win XP Pro) Sonicwall TZ170 - firmware SonicOS Enhanced 3.2.3.0-6e Linksys SPA942 Phones - firmware version 5.2.2(a) Linksys WRV 200 Routers - Firmware 1.0.39 VoIP provider is Callcentric VoIP Layout Details: The Sonicwall is the main router with the PBXnSIP hanging off of it. The Sonicwall is configured to pass all PBXnSIP ports to the PBX PC. There are 2 branch offices that connect via a VPN provided by the Linksys router to the sonicwall. Each office has a Linksys phone. VoIP problem: When no inbound calls are placed for an undetermined about of time, the first inbound call is either unanswered after a long silence or is answered by CallCentric’s voicemail. If a second inbound call is placed right away the PBXnSIP will pick up the call in a normal time. All incoming calls for the next undetermined amount time, are answered as normal. Trouble Shooting details: This problem appears to be corrected by enabling SIP Transformations under the VoIP section of the Sonicwall. However, when I enable this, both branch offices will lose audio both ways. The phones are still communicating with the PBX because missed call notifications are e-mailed when attempting to call one of the branch offices. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
  4. I have a client with 2 DID #s. One is a voice line which goes directly to auto attendant. The second line is a dedicated fax line (which currently is also going to the auto attendant). I would like setup the PBX to continue to route the voice line to the auto attendant but have the fax route directly to a Grand stream HandyTone -386 device. I took a look at the suggested link in the above post but wasn't sure if it would address this scenario.
  5. I ran the WireShark on the PBX and tried to dial in from the remote extension. I didn't see anything obvious come up in the capture. Is there a specific entry I should be looking for? Just to recap the client has a sonicwall TZ170, with the latest Windows Build of PBXnSIP running at the corp office. I've installed a Linksys SPA942 at the home office. The phone does register with the PBX and I do get a dial tone. I can even make call but person can't hear me nor can I hear them. All phones at the corp office (which are also Linksys SPA942) are working fine. Thanks again for the help.
  6. Should I run the PCAP from the remote side or the server side? It doesn't matter if its inside or outside.
  7. Okay I'll give that a try. Thanks you.
  8. Hello! I would like to know if there's a way to check voicemail from outside without having to wait for the voicemail greeting to play. In otherwords right now we call in dial our extension wait for the phone to ring then press* and enter our access code. I would like to call in and press a key that will take us right checking our voicemail. Thanks in advance for the help.
  9. Thanks for help. I got the remote phone to register with the PBX. The problem I am having now is that I hear a dial tone when I pick up the phone but once I enter the phone # of my cell phone I hear nothing. HOWEVER, my cell phone does ring! I have enabled SIP ports on the firewalls at both locations. Any ideas? Thanks again!
  10. Hello Everyone, I would like to setup a remote extension at a home office. I would like to do this over a standard Internet connection. I would like to know what additional ports (if any) I need to open on the firewall and what steps I need to take to configure the PBX to register that phone. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
