I'm curious...is there a way to make it so when the parked call returns to the the parker that there is a recording that says "a call you parked has not been picked up yet, do you want this call to remain parked or do you want to talk to the caller?" Is something like that possible?
#2-Is there a way to let the person who parked it know who is was parked FOR when it is bounced back ?
#3-Also, how do i show all the calls parked by a specific person on the computer screen? (receptionist wants to see all parked she parked that haven't been picked up) (THIS RECEPTINIONIST IS ON THE BALL ;-)

I am not sure whether you are still having issues with the "Loop detected". If you are, then there is a global setting called "max_loop". The default value for this is 5. You can set this to a higher number (say 10) and get out of this issue.
Is there any other issue that this will cause?

Hello,
Just to add more:
If i configure the patton 4114 to goto huntgroup 521 it works.
But how can it be made to work by NOT configuring it in the patton to goto a specifc pbxnsip account?

Hello,
We have the same problem which is an issue:
patton pstn gateway hardwired to goto a huntgroup #531, which afterhours goes to AA #71; when a caller hangs up, pbxnsip does not detect it.
This is not a big problem with AutoAttendent because I can put a timeout...but if the caller gets into voicemail it never hangs up...(not after 5minutes or ever)
What could this be?
matt
ps- i thot this had worked orginiallly, but i don't know what would have changed.

version 4.0 has a ? button that brings up the support site
using Google Chrome, when you add an extension, if it already exists on the domain, it will tell you as soon as you go to the next tab, which I wish it also does it on IE FF etc
Yeah, v4 is getting better...that is good...

i have a $99 getting started with pbxnsip ebook if you like...

When you first install pbxnsip with the standard config it should just work.

Hello,
We need to demo integrating pbxnsip to Nortel cs1000 v5.
http://products.nortel.com/go/product_asso...mp;locale=en-US
they will be doing a slow migration from nortel to pbxnsip so they need to co-exist. Our thot was do a sip trunk.
Has anyone done the legwork and want to share the info?
(Not nessearily looking for free info.)
It looks like we could also get a nortel ata device for $100 to connect at a analog extension level per the following article:
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+Nortel
This would be a traditional analogue integration. 1 ATA & one fxo port per simulatneous call required but would be straightforward.
actually $72 per concurrent call nessesary:

thanks,

Hello All,
On the subject of SIP software call attendent?...
(if it's possible to make a phone/hardware call console, like snom360 with panel, couldn't a software one be concieveable?)
Here are some, does anyone know if they (in theory) should work with pbxnisp?

tom,
you sure it's picking up another line? Our 360's sound like a dial tone but it doesn't actually. I'll admit i like dead air instead of the misleading tone...
(but i haven't taken time to fix it...)

Couldn't you use the username based provisioning?
and delete the old account?
(of course email them first ;-)
