  1. I'm curious...is there a way to make it so when the parked call returns to the the parker that there is a recording that says "a call you parked has not been picked up yet, do you want this call to remain parked or do you want to talk to the caller?" Is something like that possible?

#2-Is there a way to let the person who parked it know who is was parked FOR when it is bounced back ?

#3-Also, how do i show all the calls parked by a specific person on the computer screen? (receptionist wants to see all parked she parked that haven't been picked up) (THIS RECEPTINIONIST IS ON THE BALL ;-)

  2. Hello,

We have the same problem which is an issue:

patton pstn gateway hardwired to goto a huntgroup #531, which afterhours goes to AA #71; when a caller hangs up, pbxnsip does not detect it.

This is not a big problem with AutoAttendent because I can put a timeout...but if the caller gets into voicemail it never hangs up...(not after 5minutes or ever)

    What could this be?

ps- i thot this had worked orginiallly, but i don't know what would have changed.

  3. what OS?

if win2008 make sure the sound is enabled..(whatever it is called)

I suggest running this all on win xp pro the first time to avoid all that stuff for testing...getting yourself up to speedd...

i have a $99 getting started with pbxnsip ebook if you like...

  4. Hello,

We need to demo integrating pbxnsip to Nortel cs1000 v5.

    http://products.nortel.com/go/product_asso...mp;locale=en-US

they will be doing a slow migration from nortel to pbxnsip so they need to co-exist. Our thot was do a sip trunk.

Has anyone done the legwork and want to share the info?

(Not nessearily looking for free info.)

It looks like we could also get a nortel ata device for $100 to connect at a analog extension level per the following article:

    http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+Nortel

This would be a traditional analogue integration. 1 ATA & one fxo port per simulatneous call required but would be straightforward.

actually $72 per concurrent call nessesary:

    thanks,

    Matt
