  1. Neither of these work, i have tried them many times. I wish it was that easy. The + sign seems to screw up the normal dial plan format.
  2. ok, thanks, it doesnt solve the issue though. If we are trying to using +e164 in our phone book, this will remove the plus sign on inbound calls as well. Simply put, how do we change +1 to 1 , and +44 to 01144 in our dial plan. This is really what i am after. Thanks
  3. ok, thanks for the reply. Can you confirm that this is done before it hits the dial plan ...I am assuming it is, but dont like to assume... :0
  4. Can you reply to see if this was done...in particular the + sign. Please advise.
  5. geez... i just read this again...no wonder i can get help............it is +1 the + sign..that is the big dilemma here....+1 if i write 1+ again...kick me out of the forum...lol
  6. Thanks for the reply but you have it backwards. +44XXXXXXXXXX needs to be changed to 01144XXXXXXXXX (the XX are simply the number after the 44) +1XXXXXXXXXX needs to be changed to 1XXXXXXXXXX Thanks
  7. The calls are coming in as 1+. If we dont have default country set as 1, then we can receive the calls at 1+ but it causes all kinds of other issues. If we leave the 1 as default, we cannot get +1...this is why i was asking about expressions.
  8. I have looked through the dial plans section several times, and it really doesnt tell the story. How do you change + to 011, and what does these replacements mean: sip*1\@\d;user=phone sip:\1@\r sip:\1@\r;user=phone Surely there must be an explanation somewhere of what this all means...please
  9. i am not clear by your response. When i click on the link....the first thing it says is: Trunk Custom Headers The PBX can send just about anything in the SIP headers when making outbound calls. This is particularly useful if the trunk provider needs special parameters/values in the SIP headers. When you say the left hand side, is this a reply for the question regarding expressions, as i am just looking for quidance. I tried to use your example above and it didnt work and the call went to voicemail. !^([2-9]{10})$!+\1! !^([1-9]{11})$!+\1! 38 i understand that the default setting using 1 but why not +1 as that will not work. In any event, if there is no way to actually receive calls 1+, just say so. I cannot find a way to do so using the default 1 settings. thanks
  10. I was wondering if there is a handbook somewhere on this. I was wondering why the Vodia would remove +1 from calls. I see them as being presented but in log files but in the call logs and on the phone, the number gets changed from +15555551212 to 555-555-1212 in the logs, and 5555551212 on the phone. The list of expressions above only directs the call, it doesnt seem to have anything to do with inbound caller id as mentioned above. Where is the setting for caller id. Thanks
  11. I realize that this is a bit old. i have always used purchased certs, but this is a much better solution. However, i have read everything above and i am not sure what to do as there are no longer any selections to make as Lets Encrypt is default. I dont see any certifcates in place and i am not sure how to make that happen now, as https now gives the warning, as i have removed the purchased cert. What are we supposed to do to enable lets encrypt as i have read everything but there seems that there is nothing to actually do to make this happen in v. 64. thanks
  12. It is not an answer.... please...I can see that this topic is being avoided. If it cannot be done, then please say so....with all the settings on the trunks... i am surprised that the original caller id cannot be sent.
  13. Thanks for the reply, but the examples that you have provided are no help. We simply want to pass along the caller id of the original caller, so if it is forwarded to a mobile phone, then they get that info. If there is a call from an extension, they either get company or extension info. I can take care of the latter two, but nothing i have tried has given no info or it is info from the extension, in this case. There are no examples, that reference calls forwarded to cell phones. It used to work. Please advise.
  14. Can you please expand on this. Simply we would like the following: The caller id is the company name and phone number unless an extension has a DID, then it is the extension name and DID. If someone calls an extension, either through an auto-attendant or directly to a DID, and it is forwarded to the mobile phone, is there a way to show the caller id of the original caller not the company or extension caller id. The example above has two different regex expressions and neither work to show the caller id of the cell phone. Thanks for your help.
  15. It is a Kerio that fully supports active sync through outlook, apple email client, nine email client and other applications. This is the first time i havent got it to work. I also tried with office365 without any success. Thx
  16. i believe that this autodiscover process is extremely outdated, probably more than 10 years old. Has anyone got this to work? Please advise.
  17. https://mail.domain.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync doesnt work. The email server that i am trying to connect, uses activesync, but it isnt microsoft. I was really hoping this would work. Thanks
  18. Sorry, i meant https://mail.domain.com thanks
  19. it says to leave that blank for autodiscovery??????????????? So you are saying that i should put it in something like the following: https://domain.emailserver.com/ I have tried that, and http and without, and nothing works. On my email client, it supports active sync, and the missing field on this is domain/username and it works every time. I dont know why this cannot be a simpler setup.
  20. HI, I am sorry, thanks for the reply but i dont understand where i am supposed to do this. The only parameters for active sync are email address and password...what url do you mean?
  21. Has anyone had any luck with this. I believe that there is a line missing which should have domain\username, as when i use active sync with my email client, it has this setting as well. It never seems to authenticate upon the log review. Please advise.
  22. Thanks for the reply, but again, no answer on the question. Can you provide us some type of time frame, so many vendors use it, surely it cannot be that big a deal to add it, and with that have higher quality Auto-attendant and Voicemail greetings.
  23. What is the likelihood of adding the Opus codec. It is very common, most phone vendors support it, and its free. Is there a time frame for Vodia to add it to the list of codecs
