  1. I am not sure why added the Vodia Root CA as it isnt assigned to the server, it is assigned to local host. I agree that the certificate thing is crap, but it doesnt help solve the problem. I turned on tls logging, and here is what i got 2] 16:37:38.348 TLS: Private and public key don't match
  2. I dont want to be sending any part of our certs through email or message. 1. Why do you have the snom/vodia certifcates, as they are tied to localhost, which as you aware, are pretty well useless. Is there any way to add the credentials of the domain to this cert so we can use it. 2. Is this even possible. Every time we have tried, we get no response. Where are the logs located that would help us trouble shoot this issue. If it cant be done, it cant be done. Just let me know.
  3. Following your post we went and tried again. All our certificates are base64 encoded and visible in a text editor. We are using the same certificates for other services as well. Our private key has no password. We are using a version later than 5.2.6. As you mentioned, we put our wildcard certificate into the certificate field first, followed by our intermediate certificate. We tried both intermediate certificates at a time as we were given two (COMODORSADomainValidationSecureServerCA.crt, COMODORSAAddTrustCA.crt). In both cases we tried concatenating our wildcard certificate with one of the intermediate certificates with and without leaving a blank line in between. We also tried adding the private key as: -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- and -----END PRIVATE KEY----- as well as: -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- and -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- Neither of the above combinations worked either in "Domain certificate chain + private key" or "Server certificate chain + private key" mode. I've spent hours trying to get this to work meticulously entering every possible combination there is. Is there a log in the PBX that shows what the problem might be? Possibly a debug log that can be enabled? We are very thankful for you getting back but don't know what else to try to get this to work. Unless we get more detailed instructions we believe this simply can't be done. Please understand that we can't let a 3rd party handle our key and certificates as it would compromise our whole PKI.
  4. Thanks for the quick reply, we will try your suggestions and report back!
  5. Hello, We recently purchased a 2048bit PositiveSSL Wildcard Certificate from Comodo and would like to install it over the Vodia Networks Inc. default certificate. Comodo sent us the following files: Root CA Certificate - AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt Intermediate CA Certificate - COMODORSAAddTrustCA.crt Intermediate CA Certificate - COMODORSADomainValidationSecureServerCA.crt Your PositiveSSL Wildcard Certificate - STAR_domain_com.crt Needless to say we also own the private key. Our goal is to remove the default Vodia Networks Inc certificate (Screenshot attached). Following the Vodia Wiki we went to Setting --> Certificates on the PBX we were able to add all the certificates mentioned above as “Trusted Root CA for server authentication”. However, we were not able to add our wildcard certificate in combination with our private key as either “Domain certificate chain + Private key” or “Server certificate chain + Private key”. This is what we tried: 1.) (As domain certificate chain + private key) 1.1) Wildcard certificate + Private key 1.2) Concatenated all certificates adding empty line between certificates + Private key 2.) (As server certificate chain + private key) 2.1) Wildcard certificate + Private key 2.2) Concatenated all certificates adding empty line between certificates + Private key 3.) (As domain certificate chain + private key) (Changed -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- to -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- and -----END PRIVATE KEY----- to -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- ) 3.1) Wildcard certificate + Private key 3.2) Concatenated all certificates adding empty line between certificates + Private key 4.) (As server certificate chain + private key) (Changed -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- to -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- and -----END PRIVATE KEY----- to -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- )) 4.1) Wildcard certificate + Private key 4.2) Concatenated all certificates adding empty line between certificates + Private key For any combination above, once we click “Save” simply nothing happens. We would be very grateful if someone could help us replace the default Vodia Networks Inc certificate with our own so we can start using https without getting “This connection is untrusted“ messages in the browser. Thank you in advance!
  6. Is there any resolution on this topic, as we just starting having exactly the same experience. The logs are very similar, but it doesnt happen after the ack, it happens well into the call. I noticed it would happen on a second call, after the recipient had disconnected the first call.
  7. I have tried enabling PIN for international calls, and there is no prompt and the call goes through as dialled. I am not sure what you mean by the generated folder, as i looked and cannot find that folder. If you are referring to plug and play, we have it enabled but we dont use it, so i have no other idea what you mean. We are getting hacked all the time, and i have no idea how they figure out the passwords. We dont normally use softphones, so i have no idea how we are getting hacked. The strainge thing is that it is very random, and hasnt caused me alot of losses, but it takes us too much time and energy fighting the hackers. I have checked every log i can find, and there is no indication that it is coming through the os as we have it pretty locked down, I wish this pin feagure would work, as it would really help.
  8. hi, the extension does have a pin, and i am using 5.2.1 and also tried it on 5.3.0.\ Please advise on how i can make it work as we have continuous fraud issues where the fraudsters somehow are guessing our sip passwords. We dont publish them anywhere, and we have very tight security, so we would like to try this.
  9. I have tried to check the P box in the dial plan without any results. Is there are another setting that i am missing as nothing happens.
  10. We would like to create a softphone based upon Webritc to work with Vodia pbx. I have tested it and we cannot get it to work with chrome or otherwise, it may work on on your website, but that is really no help at this point. Again, i dont want to bug you about this, but we if we could some information so we could possibly design an application to work within the constraints, that would be great. The only info so far is that you support webrtc, using sde only. There is no signalling at this stage. Is there anything else you can provide or is that it at this point. Thanks
  11. HI, I asked you some very specific questions. I dont want to bug you. What is the point of hitting the talk button on your website, i have no idea what you are doing in the background. We are interested in creating something similar to a softphone, using webrtc. If you cannot help us, then fine. I have posted the results of our tests, its doesnt work in its present format.
  12. Is there any way to get some documentation on this. We are interested in pursuing this, but we really cannot get anything to work. Therefore, we thought about developing our own, but there is no documentation so we could implement our own development. The first issues are as follows: 1. When using the webrtc and pasting it in the browser, and phone will ring but there is no audio. 2. When logging into the user extension, we can initiate a call, but there is no audio. So here are the questions: 1. Are you following WebRTC standards. 2. When we try creating the webrtc phone through the trunk, we cannot receive a call. When we try to use the dialpad on the screen, there is no fuctionality in the dial pad. This is when using firefox or chrome. 3. When we tried using webrtc from the user login, with a chrome browser, we can dial out but there is no audio to another extension or to pstn number when it connects. Regarding inbound calls, i search the security of the chrome brower, and i cannot find "enable/allow" this. It doesnt appear that you really support WebRTC. If that is not the case, please advise by providing more information. If you are not planning to support it, could we at least get some documentation so we could develop it ourselves. We are very interested in the oppportunities regarding webrtc; however, we need some more information. Thanks
  13. ok thanks. I never use chrome, so i had no idea what you meant. . I tested it, and it seems to work a little bit for outbound, but i could never get it to ring on the inbound.
  14. Please explain this to me. I dont see it anywhere on the user login. I see a call from phone, but what does that mean. Could you please provide an explanation about this. thanks
  15. Can we test this at all. Please advise, or provide us with documentation so we could create our own version. Thanks
  16. HI, That is what i was trying to accomplish. I dont know anything about this softphone using WebRTC. I was thinking about using our own softphone utilizing WebRTC. What i was really trying to do, was create a full featured softphone, using WebRTC. I was trying to eliminate the installation etc part, like everyone else!!! I have tried testing webrtc using your code and it really doesnt work. There is little documentation, that i could find, regarding OS or browser. If there are any updates on this topic, i would appreciate your response as i thought it was kind of a dead project for your development. Thanks
  17. Are there any plans for the Vodia pbx to support this RFC? Thanks
  18. Sorry for the late reply, yes it does. We got it working with a proxy, but now it is breaking other things. Is there any plans of fixing this
  19. Thanks for your quick reply. However, could you update on the remainder of this topic or are you considering waiting until this technology becomes more mature, as right now it is not working. Thanks
  20. HI Support, I was wondering if Snomone (or Vodia) planned on implementing a full fledged WebRTC implementation. We have tested it and it is buggy at best. We have sparodically been able to make calls from a computer with the script enabled using Chrome, but no other browsers. Most of the time there is no audio, no ringback, and when we try different numbers from the key pad, it doesnt seem to work, as it dials the same number continuously. In terms of receiving calls, i am not sure if this function has been entertained at this stage, as the documentation on this subject is limited. Please advise if it is something that the development group is working on, or if it isnt going to change. Thanks
  21. The player does not work when you use a certificate. It works fine without. Please advise.
  22. The documentation on this subject is not clear. If i enable a second language in the ivr, (ie first being English, second being German), what is the result supposed to be, as nothing happens. Is it required to have an option in the IVR that the caller hears (Welcome to XYX company, to listen in Deutche, press 1,...blah blah blah), and then redirect 1 to another autoattendant?? I dont understand how the dual language selection works in the auto-attendant section. Thanks
  23. HI, Is this a known bug. We have not set any extensions to be a fax during the testing so we were quite surprised. Please advise.
  24. Hi, thanks for the reply. I was wrong regarding the version, it is 5.1.1 and we dont have it set up as a fax. This is completely random, as it appears to come from outside caller who either presses and extension or a shortcut from the autoattendant. I am not sure if it happens in other environments as we cannot seem to repeat it more than twice and then not again. Very strange.
