  1. Hi, where to find the new ActiveSync-Settings? Neither found in General Settings (System or Domain) nor at Extension Level or in Address Book Settings. Thanks.
  2. Hi, this question is so simple, that I'm sure it is already answered in one of the forum yet, but I cannot find for what I'm searching for: When make a call from the Web-Interface of SnomOne (Callers List, Address Book...) by clicking the green Phone Icon, I first see the web-page "Remote Call Initiation". It's OK, but would be better to stay on the pay where I click the gree Phone Icon. No problem so far. When I answer the call on the Phone, I hear not the ringtone, but the message "If you like to be connected to destination number, please press 1". As this setting is a pbx-based setting, I'd like to know, where to disable this feature. Another thing is (should be posted in another forum?) to set the phone (Snom 720) to auto-answer. Currently I have to lift the receiver, press the speaker-button or the headset-button in order to take the call. This setting must be somewhere in the Admin-Area of the Phone UI. But as we are using auto-provision, we do not have the admin-password for that and the default PW "0000" is not working. In the Domain-XML (SnomOne) we can only set the User and Password in order to get access to the Phone UI. Unfortunately the Menu-Button on the Phone does not give us the Phone's Menu but the System Menu of the PBX. So we aren't able to switch from User Menu into Admin Menu of the Phone by its keypad. Any help?
  3. Many thanks!! It seems to be exactly we are searching for. Just one question to: "t" is being replaced with the called party username: Is it possible to route the calls from a trunk depending on DDI the caller has dialled to an IVR node (in order to assign the t=party username there(?) and to greet the caller different, then let each IVR route the call to one and the same Agent Group. Does the system keeps the t=party username assigned from the IVR node or does this variable get reassigned t=Agent Group Naeme? If the last: Any REGEX-Solution to assign e. g. (If DDI=10 then display "AAA", if DDI=20 then display "BBB" ...)?
  4. Hello, in some systems we've a lot of ACD-Groups with the same number of agents. The reason for that is only to have different ACD-Names to distinguish from each other. For the agent it is important to see from which line (trunk) the caller comes from. Every agent is member of some ACD-Groups and before he takes the call, he sees the Name of the ACD in front of the callers number. So far so god. With upgrade from V4 (blue edition, unlimited ACD's) to V5 (each ACD cost a lot of money) the quesion arise, if there is a way to get the same functionality without the need of much ACD's but still see, from wich line the call comes from. Is there any way to modify the From-Header, so we see no longer the name of the Agent Group in front of the callers number, but the trunks name?
  5. Hello, the first thing we've tested in V5 is the Fax-Support, but we don't have success handling incoming faxes. We've set up a simple test PBX. One Trunk with all calls coming in are going to ext. 123 with Mailbox enabled. No other accounts in this PBX. Fax call comes in, Mailbox starts with greeting and then after the first fax beep, greeting is stopped and... nothing happens. This is the logfile, maybe somebody could help us: [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Resolve 34: aaaa udp 213.148.xxx.yyy 5060 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Resolve 34: a udp 213.148.xxx.yyy 5060 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Resolve 34: udp 213.148.xxx.yyy 5060 [7] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Set packet length to 20 [6] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call-leg 6: Sending RTP for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813 to 213.148.xxx.yyy:46268, codec not set yet [8] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Incoming call: Request URI sip:089123456@qsc.de, To is <sip:089123456@qsc.de;user=phone> [8] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Set the To domain based on To user 123@pbx.company.com [8] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Play audio_en/mb_you_have_reached.wav audio_en/mb_leave_msg_after_tone.wav audio_moh/mb_beep.wav, caching false [7] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: set_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813 codecs "", codec_preference count 6 [8] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: call port 6: state code from 0 to 200 [7] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Set packet length to 20 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: update_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813: adding codec pcmu/8000 to available list [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: update_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813: adding codec pcma/8000 to available list [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: update_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813: Other side does not support codec g722/8000 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: update_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813: Other side does not support codec g726-32/8000 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: update_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813: Other side does not support codec gsm/8000 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call port 6: update_codecs for SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813: codec_preference size 6, available codecs size 3 [6] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call-leg 6: Codec pcmu/8000 is chosen for call id SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Resolve 35: aaaa udp 213.148.xxx.yyy 5060 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Resolve 35: a udp 213.148.xxx.yyy 5060 [9] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Resolve 35: udp 213.148.xxx.yyy 5060 [6] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Call-leg 6: Codec pcmu/8000 is chosen for call id SD6gmn801-6bfce09b79485f0b4aef2dd42aab850e-l65h813 [5] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: set codec: codec pcmu/8000 is set to call-leg 6 [5] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Last message repeated 2 times [6] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: Received DTMF F, call type mailbox [8] 2012/11/07 07:43:47: call port 6: state code from 200 to 200 Of course, SIP-Provider supports T.38.
  6. VOUCHER??? That sounds great! But what, if my SnomOne runs without an activation code (but static license bound to NIC's MAC)? Whats the value of an SnomOne Blue Voucher? Is it possible to exchange more than one SnomOne Blue into new V5 license?
  7. After dealing with some issues of our customers with call interruptions, we found that the caller option within an agent groups keeps available even the caller is connected to an agent. If, by chance, the caller touches a button of his phone while speaking with an agent, the call is disconnected and transferred to the destination of Agent Group. Of course, it is a nice feature to get out of a queue, offering the caller "if you do not want to wait longer, press x to get transferred to the mailbox". But if this option isn't disabled as soon as the caller is connected to an agent, this feature turns into a bug. Some callers really pressed a button by chanche while speaking (e. g. using phones with buttons inside the headset) and got transferred to the mailbox, believing the agent puts them there. The Agent worried about the calls loosed and we got the issues here.
  8. Of course, these limits can be increased by purchasing additional licenses. That's what they call a-la-carte. Can't await to see the prices. Nevertheless, it doesn't make fun to create complex solutions while counting (paying :-) peas (or accounts). But admin has right: Noone did see the prices and annoucements yet. So let's calm down and see whats happen.
  9. Your're right and not ;-). The informations available on http://www.snomone.com/versions shows, that the biggest version, SnomOne Eighty does only have a small part of the snomone blue. That's what I've meant with the missing delightful "flatrate" of non-extension based accounts. If I see, that even with the SnomOne Eighty I have to care about any additional AutoAttendant (only 4 included, while currently used app. 25), ACD (only 1!! included, while currently used app. 40) and domains (only 1 included, while currently used 5) I'm quite shure, that the a-la-carte licensing won't be a bargain buy like McMenu of McDonalds. I fully agree with Dar @ Helia, saying "The current licensing model is what SnomOne stand out among all the various pbx. The Free / Yellow / Blue model makes it very attractive for the SMB market with Snom phones." That's what I've meant with the fun, building complex scenarios upon customer request. For now, each change might be a decision budget-related. People love flatrates. Everyone uses them on their landline-phone, mobile-phone, Internet-Access and much more. The a-la-carte seems to be the drop of bitterness... except the base-license would be very low priced. I'm courious, how the new license-model will be accepted by the community.
  10. As much as V5 is interesting to all of us which use SnomOne already, the new licensing policy raise the question "What's about the existing licenses?" Do they lose in value? What the user will get for their snomone yellow / snomone blue? It seems that the old licensing policy was much better for the customer as the blue included unlimited extensions, full feature set, multi tenant up to 5 companies. Although the a-la-carte seems to come without pricing-information for now, I guess that some customers are really missing the delightful "flatrate" (unlimited usage) of non-extension accounts like ACD'S, hunt groups, IVR's, Service-Flags(extremely important!) and others. It makes fun, to present the customers the advantage of an IP-PBX while they have to pay only for the extensions. Building complex scenarios doesn't result in worry about licensing issues. Especially for a hosted pbx provider the new licensing policy seems to be a drop of bitterness in a very welcome V5 with the eagerly awaited Fax integration.
  11. A VERY good software, using TAPI for incoming call is TAPICALL (www.tapicall.de or www.tapicall.com or look the Youtube-Video below). It does immediately online reverse-search of public directory as soon as a call is incoming and displays all the callers details before answering the call. Really very nice! And there are many other software using TAPI to handle incoming calls... but the current SnomOne TAPI-Driver unfortunately doesn't provide support for incoming calls. It would be REALLY important to add this feature!
  12. The SnomOne TAPI-TSP works excellent and reliable (really no 3rd-pty Software is neccessary), BUT handling (at least: signalize) incoming calls is extremely important in order to retrieve CRM Information upon incoming calls. Any information, if this feature can be expected in near future?
  13. Solved myself right now: Just install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) before running Installation of SnomOne TAPI http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/confirmation.aspx?id=14632
  14. Hello, I'm trying to install the SnomOne TAPI Software (64bit) on either Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Windows 7 Ultimat (x64) but on both machines I get the following error message after accepting the license, specifying the installation path and so on... "Snom ONE TAPI - There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program run as a part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor". I think this is not a problem of an defective download package as the Installer starts properly, asking me for accepting license and so on. What I've tried already but without success. - Checking file permission on the installation package (Full Access) - Installing out of C:\Program Files, e. g. C:\temp (same Behaviour) - Install on a different machine (same Behaviour) I can remember we had the same problem with the old PBXnSIP TAPI Software, but no solution... Any idea?
  15. Imagine, what whould happen if the PBX's behaviour would be clear as you've mentioned: Absolutely no way to get the Callers ID if call was picked up. That's why we are happy to provide our customer the workaround to look into the extensions Web-Interface (PBX) in order to retreive this information or by requesting the pbx to send the Callers Informations by eMail. This is working, too. But any poor old PBX would show the caller's id even the call is picked up. The Difference is the way the call is picked up. As long the call is retreived by make an outbound call (Starcode to the PBX) showing the caller's ID on the phone will be difficult. What about getting the call by pressing an "URL-Button" where the PBX is requested to ring the phone, too, first? After that, call can be taken just by taking the handset.
  16. Yes, this is exactly the feature the customer asked for.
  17. Hello, as described in Topic, I wonder if there is really no possibilty to get the CDR-Information of a Call which is picked up from another Extension saved in the Snom Phone's Caller List (Snom 360). Of course picking up a call is an outgoing call from the Phone's point of view. I told my customer to use the Extensions WebInterface in order to retrieve the CDR's of calls picked-up rather than looking into the Phones Caller-List (where those calls aren't listed), but maybe there is a solution for this request available. Regards from Germany, Lucas Hummig
  18. Hello, all the SIP-Providers (Carriers) knows which PBX we are using, because SnomOne is telling that to the SIP-Registrar. Is it possible to change the System Name (shown on the attached Screenshoot)? Background: Some SIP-Providers are screening those User-Accounts with Flatrate-Option enabled and commercial Usage. Often, a criteria is the SIP-Device. Thanks
  19. OK. Now it works. It is necessary to install the M9 Softphone, too.
  20. Hello, I wonder, what I'm doing wrong. Tried to run the Attendant Console a few weeks ago with no success on three different machines (Win7 - 64bit). Installed the "new" version today on a fresh Machine with the same result: 1st strange thing is that I'm not asked for accepting license agreement (there is no Step 6). 2nd strange thing is that after starting the application I see absolutely nothing happening, no Application Window, no Error Message, just nothing. Viewing on the TaskManager shows me that there are two task more, when Starting the application, but after 3 seconds the number of tasks are the same before starting the Attendant Console. Looking into Eventwiever I see, that starting the application produces the Application Error 1000 and the .net-Error-Code 1026 Unhandled Exception. Maybe it's a problem of the 64bit OS? Regards, Lucas
  21. Interessant.
  22. It's exactly what we tried already before starting this thread. But as there are multiple Agent Groups and the Night-Service-Destination is always the same we would need a Redirection-Button(LED) based on the ACD, not the destination, in order to get the status of each Agent group.
  23. Yes, we mean LED-Button. It's no need for documentation, just have it visible for the manager which of each Agent Group (6 different Agent groups in total) is available (at least one member logged in). Thus we think Button is the better solution rather checking lots of eMails in order to find out the current status.
