  1. Hello, I am unable to access my Web Interface on my Snom 760. I have updated the firmware using Pumpkin and have gotten as far as having a dial tone. However, I cannot get onto the web interface, instead it just brings up the 'unable to load page' I have double and triple checked the IP address and it is the same, I have also pinged the address and am receiving a response. I am slowly going crazy, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
  2. many thanks for help! this all seems to be good, looks like a mix of dns resolving incorrectly by server. added it correctly to the server (the phones dns server)so it resolved internally. added the routing replacment IP as per the wiki and away it goes many thanks!!
  3. thanks for your time on this! , not sure where i find the outbound DNS proxy.... thanks again i feel like this install given to us is a friday pm job 1/2 done
  4. ...not sure (not a typo), as this is an external phone would i not see the external IP address (like the sip traffic?)
  5. thanks for the update chaps.... as far as i can tell we are using TLS - the outbound proxy on the 760 is : sip:pbx.domainname.com:5061;transport=tls so thought it would work. Also i setup the internal DNS server (windows 2008) to point pbx.domainnam.com to resolve to 192.168.4.100 (our SnomOne), the name also resolves externaly to the firewall but intrestingly when i cot a PCAP from the external user i see that the SIP is going to the correct location but RTP traffic is trying to go to 192.168.4.100 which i guess where its failing? any other thoughts?? thanks again
  6. Hi all - im sure youve seen it before but im still having issues...hope someone can help We have a SnomONE with 760 handsets - all behind NAT SG-560 firewall, all working ok... adding a remote user to contact the PBX... so all ports opened on firewall, SIP registers ok, no audio - ah hah i thought!...'ill just add me 192.168.4.0/255.255.255.0/192.168.4.100 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0/(my external public ip)' in the route replacement section on the admin and great - external calls all working.... ...but.. it seems also all internal calls are going via the internet as calls between extentions are dropping /jutter am i best to put this pbx on a DMZ? thanks
  7. Sorry Steve B - not sure what you mean http://IP/prov/snomxxx.htm ? i just put in 192.168.4.100 (no http...) is this not the best way?
  8. thanks that worked a treat! firmware updates have been been applied now and button profiles have been updated (even though it says provision server says buttons failed?) one more if thats ok - after the button profile has been applied if its changed under each user on the SnomOne extensions, it doesnt update the ext. is this normal?
  9. Many thanks all - it was because the provision server (on the phone , advance, update was pointing to http://provision.snom.com - changed this to my snomone ip and off it went!
  10. many thanks. Ok the phones are PnP (they have generated files). but the update setting on the phone (advance,update...)was http://provisioning.snom.com/snom760/snom760.php?mac={mac}. Ive changed this to http://192.168.4.100/snom760/snom760.php?mac={mac} (our server), rebooted the phone but the unit still doesnt apply any of the changes i make on the snomONE admin (new firmware, button assignmets etc) i must be missing something!?!... many thanks for your help
  11. hi all we have hadour Snom one system installed by someone else and are trying to get our head around it! we have 760 handsets are are failing to be able to make changes on these from the snomOne admin console. As far as a know these are connected via PnP - is there a way to check!? i want to update the firmware for all 760's , so i go into admin > settings > PnP and change the url to point to new Firmware url ....reboot phones but no udates. I also tried creating a new button profile for the 760's , assign a few of the buttons for BLF and apply these to the domain buttons setting , or even under an extention, again phone doesnt update.... not sure if im missing a fundimental bit here ?!....... looking on the phone log (level 5) shows lots of the following which doesnt look good (?) 16/connected, poll data_cb -> No such file or directory (2) 8/10/2012 21:05:59 [ERROR ] PHN: TPL: Socket Error: 201/19/connected, poll data_cb -> No such file or directory (2) 8/10/2012 21:05:59 [ERROR ] PHN: TPL: Socket Error: 202/20/connected, poll data_cb -> No such file or directory (2) 8/10/2012 21:05:59 [ERROR ] PHN: TPL: Socket Error: 203/21/connected, poll data_cb -> No such file or directory (2) 8/10/2012 21:05:59 [ERROR ] PHN: TPL: Socket Error: 204/22/connected, poll data_cb -> No such file or directory (2) 8/10/2012 21:05:59 [ERROR ] PHN: TPL: Socket Error: 205/23/connected, poll data_cb -> No such file or directory (2) 8/10/2012 21:06:02 [NOTICE] PHN: TPL: Socket 210 idle/connect timeout 8/10/2012 21:06:02 [NOTICE] PHN: TPL: Socket 211 idle/connect timeout 8/10/2012 21:06:02 [NOTICE] PHN: TPL: Socket 206 idle/connect timeout 8/10/2012 21:06:02 [NOTICE] PHN: TPL: Socket 207 idle/connect timeout 8/10/2012 21:06:02 [NOTICE] PHN: TPL: Socket 208 idle/connect timeout 8/10/2012 21:06:02 [NOTICE] PHN: TPL: Socket 209 idle/connect timeout help please!! thanks
  12. many thanks , i changed the path under the admin, settings, pnp for the 760 to http://provisioning.snom.com/download/fw/snom760-8.7.3.10-SIP-r.bin saved and rebooted the phone under the accounts but still showing as 2.9 on the phone log i did notice TLS server is off but under the PBX ,PnP its showing 'transport layer: TLS' 1/1/1970 00:00:47 [ALERT ] PHN: Config setup: code: 500, uri: http://127.0.0.1:80/dummy.htm 1/1/1970 00:00:47 [NOTICE] PHN: Fetching FW URL: http://provisioning.snom.com:80/snom760/snom760-firmware.htm 1/1/1970 00:00:47 [NOTICE] PHN: Fetching URL: http://provisioning.snom.com:80/snom760/snom760-firmware.htm 1/1/1970 00:00:47 [ERROR ] PHN: Warning: Certificate verification omitted. TLS Server authentication is switched off! do you think this is the problem?
  13. we are having trouble applying the 8.7.3.10 firmware to our Snom 760 phones (currently fw8.7.2.9). When logging onto the phone web and entering the URL as per http://wiki.snom.com/Firmware/V8/760 the phone goes though the process to download and reboot showing the new f/ware then seems to download its current version 2.9 and apply that.... also it would be great if someone can explain how to roll out the update to all the phones automaticaly! many thanks
  14. Katerina, many thanks for you help - we have got this working now by changing the hunt group to Group name as you sugested (sorry  )
  15. many thanks!! ive made a hunt group and given it a name & account. i set the behavior 'from-header' to group name. when you dial the number the Snom 760 shows the telephone number (the virtual one) but not the name of the hunt group (correct phones in hunt group ring only shows the hunt group name when the caller hangs up strangly many thanks
