Might be a solution you can try when the system is not having any calls: You can try to download the tar file of the domain, delete the domain and put it back. This can be one of the ways.
sounds very risky
my domains have the following naming scheme
primary name: domain.com
alias name: voice.domain.com
will the pbx create a certificate on the primary or alias name?
-
this is only for new domains. how to enable this for existing?

On the Snom M9 I had similar issues and a quick and dirty (but not very secure with regards to possible MITM attacks) workaround was to tell the phones to provison via https but accept all certs without trying to check their validity.
You could try that temporarily if your endpoints have that option - just to get back up and running confirm it is a certificate issue.
yeah i know but there should be a better option no?
-
when i logged into the phone it told me that it tried to provision over https and that this is something which could be a security issue.
sorry my wording

i successfully installed a domain certificate on our pbx.
navigating to http://voice.domain.com shows a valid certificate for teh domain
now all the phone though report: Provisioning Server Failed…
i guess this has something todo with the certificate not installed on each phone.
i was under the assumption if i the settings url is http and not https this should work
http://voice.domain.com/provisioning/snom760.htm
what is the recommended procedure?
thanx

ok i understand.

in can verify that soap works with pbxctrl-darwin9.0-4.5.0.1075 and stops working with pbxctrl-darwin9.0-4.5.0.1090
is there a way to fix this in a new 4.5 release?

how can the user select a ring tone of the 10 ringtones?
since the phone is provisioned by the pbx the menu button does not give the option to change the ringtone.
also the web user interface has no option.
i don't want to auto provision this. the user should be able to choose.
thanx

wired i also have
Available file system space: -16%
even tough i have 400GB available space.
i removed all cdr* dirs and reboted.
still
Available file system space: -16%
Version: 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (MacOS)
-
i upgraded my server to version 5 to test.
the soap call started to work again.
back to 4.5 stopped working.
trust me this is an issue with 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (MacOS)
can you please check?

i could not find any specific. i will upload the log to the support website.

seems snomeone 5.0.3 is untalizing 100% cpu time and loses all registrations to the phones.
restart solves the issue
os is: mac osx 10.6.8 server

its a local trunk
on 5.0.3 assume though i had teh same issue on 4.5 too
the xml is still in the trunk dir i found it.
should i just remove the xml file of the trunk?

sending emails via gmail smtp stop working.
turning of `Check server certs for emails` fixes the issue.
was wondering if you could provide instructions how to install the attached gmail certificate.

Obviously a bug sneaked into the phone firmware. Hopefully the next version that snom releases will fix that.
