Is anyone successfully using the itsp solution in a 1000 concurrent call situation or larger

We are considering PBXnSip ITSP solution. I am requesting examples of systems people are running and real world pit falls. For example: we are running a stand alone PbxnSip / Solutions 11 system and serving 2000+ sip exts and it is easly handling 800-1200 peak concurrent calls. or We tried running PBXnSip itsp but found out that anything over 100 concurrent calls killed it without an external SBC. Any real world examples would be greatly appreciated. I will pm anyone my contact number if they would like to talk off board.
