  1. Do I add it to the same trunk or try loopback ? Is this the standard way to set the system up ? Also this would be great to add to the Wiki
  2. We are using pbxnsip 2.1.11.2484 I get the following line in my log file [1] 2008/11/18 11:18:48: Could not allocate new ports! [1] 2008/11/18 11:18:48: Last message repeated 2 times We are also getting calls with no audio and CALL ID is "SIP". I am trying to figure out if the two issues are related. I would just like have a better explanation of the error message. I assume it is referring to a RTP port. More details would be appreciated. Thanks
  3. We have a simple dial plan "9*". So to call to the outside 91xxx-xxx-xxxx. However, when we receive a call it shows up on our CallerID on the Cisco phone as 1xxx-xxx-xxxx. As a result when we use redial it does not work because the number does not have 9 prepended to the number. What would be the best way to fix out problem? We are using pbxnsip 2.1 Thanks
  4. Is there some other way to control the queuing in Windows with out changing the TOS registry setting? I am no windows expert but seems that the QoS queuing is controlled by group policy objects. Is there a way to tell windows that a certain type of packets get better service? The problem with setting TOS is it messes up the queuing of other QoS application running on the same server. So a can't change the registry setting in windows as suggested on the wiki. Would it be better for me to just get a cisco router to do the QoS? Thanks
  5. Changing the registry setting to allow application to set the TOS flag causes a problem for other applications on by Windows 2003 server. In particular Blackberry Server will not sent packets. It seems to me that pbxnsip should use the windows GQoS API instead by-passing the windows QoS system by enabling the applications to set the TOS tag So far this is my only complaint with pbxnsip every thing else is great! Is there any plans to change this in pbxnsip ? Thanks
