  1. hi; i have a client who is a small business owner using a CS410. In order for his office to run properly he needs for his employees to be able to see if others are on the phone or not...they are all using Snom 360's with the latest firmware...i have set up the function keys as shown in the attached image and when the employees make outbound calls or receive calls directed directly to their extension it shows up on the other phones that they are on the phone. HOWEVER, since this is a small company they have it set to ring to a hunt group for the first five rings before it goes to the auto attendant to make it more personal but when they pick up the call from the hunt group the buttons do not monitor the extension!!! i have tried using the BLF option in the snom phone and that had the same problem! Can someone pls advise asap!!! Thank you; Michael

Hi; i have a client who uses the intercom feature alot. he would like to have a speeddial setup on his phone for the star code but the problem is that when you type in the star code then the extension number needs to be put in simultaneously and he cannot hit *90 and then put in extension 601 he would have to put in *90601 which means that he cannot create a speeddial for this star code. is there any way around this? SORRY JUST NOTICED THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE WITH THE SAME QUESTION. please advise answer.
  4. I agree with the concept of the ringback tone however the problem is that if like in this particular case there are agents who are not always by their phones then the callers are therefore getting the ringback tone immediately after the "0" message.

HI; big issue i logged in to do maintenence during the day and realized that the service flag was showing as SET...all calls were going to night auto attendant! after changing the flag manually to clear i cheked the logfile to see that the date and time were wrong in the system...ping pool.ntp.org got a response but the cs410 was not updating date and time correctly!!! pls advise asap!!!!

HI; i am an it consultant who has setup a number of PBXnsip phone servers over the last few months. i am enthralled with the new features version three has to offer especially now that it has been released for windows servers too! however i am having a major issue and my clients are going live tomorrow morning with no other phone system! when i go into the auto attendant to upload files it does not not always add the file to the recording folder in the pbx system folder. secondly the ones that did upload now give the caller an earful of noisy static instead of the pleasant voice of the auto attendant talent!!!! if anyone has any suggestions then please advise asap as this needs to be fixed urgently!!! Hi; i have the same problem by some clients of mine!...they may add a few backup agents but those agents are not always by their desk however when a call comes into the agent group even if there is noone available at their desk the agent group does not know this and therefore gives the ringback tone instead of music which is less professional sounding then music which is what they would like...coudll you possibly add the option into the agent group to choose if you want it to ringback or continue to play music if agents are available?
