  1. We are currently trying to find a wireless sip phone to use in our production enviorment. We have looked at the Snome M3 but only 3 phones can have an active call on the same base. We are an office of about 65 people and we need to have mobility throughout the building. So we are currently looking at the AAstra SIP DECT phones. here is the link http://www.aastra.com/cps/rde/xchg/04/hs.xsl/21410.htm my question is does anyone have any experience with these phones? Thank you for any help. Tom
  2. Ok great. One last question, we have looked at the Snom M3's are there any other good cordless options out there that PBXnSIP support?
  3. We are getting ready to deploy PBXnSIP in out office. I just need to get a couple of questions answered so I can report back and we can finally get off the old pbx we have now. 1. I want to connect our Audiocodes gateway directly to the PBX. So the PBX server will have 2 nics. 1 that is directly connected to the gateway and the other nic goes to the network. Is this possible? 2. If the network were to go down and the PBX could not see any clients can we redirect calls to a 7 digit number such as a cell phone. I would want to do this on the domain level not on the extension. Thank you in advance for all of your help! Tom
  4. OK, I could really use some help here. We have one site that we a replacing a Nortel Option 11 with a PBXnSIP solution. Our PBXnSIP will connect to an Audiocodes mediant 1000 gateway. I need to connect this gateway to a Nortel option 11. They connect over an ISDN line. I have the configuration for the Nortel box. I have not been to the customers site yet. I am going next week. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your time. Tom
  5. My company is currently looking at the Snom M3 for a replacement phone when we move to the PBXnSIP solution. 1. Can multiple M3 base stations connect to a single repeater? (I would think the answer would be yes but the Snom site is less the complete) 2. What is the effective range of these repeaters? 3. Can I register multiple extensions to the Same M3 base station. So it would go like this: I have 1 base station with 3 different handsets and each handset has its own extension. Thank you in advance for all of the help. Tom
  6. Can you tell me where I can download this version? I only have the new version on the web of 3.0.0.2998 Thank you, we need it for a demo tomorrow.
  7. It helps a little. I now understand what needs to be done. I am using an Aastra 57i but I can't find it on the local config of the phone. Any ideas? Thanks for the help! tom
  8. I have a demo today and I need to know how to have a group of phones be able to monitor an incomming trunk so that everyone can see when the call comes in. I have searched the Wiki and found nothing that relates to this topic in particular. I greatly appreciate any help. Tom
  9. Yes I tried that. However we are using Exchange 2003 not 2007 so UM is not even an option., I was just trying to get it to send a cdr report to my email or send me a voice mail. I found that if I removed the username and password that it would send email just fine. tom
  10. I just ended up doing it manually. I only needed 4 phones for the demo but when we roll out to the company of 100 I'll need to get this fixed.
  11. Hello again. I am trying to get the simple exchange integration going with Exchange 2003. We have SP2 installed. When I attempt to connect to Exchange from the PBXnSIP server I get an authentication error 504 unrecognized authentication type. Can anyone telll me what is going on? I have logged into the webmail account I created for the PBX so I know the username and passwords are good. Thank you all for your help. Tom
  12. I have a very unusual question and since we have been working on this for 2 days now I figure it is time to ask for some help. This is our first install of PBXnSIP and it is currently only in a demo enviornment. I had a complete setup of 3 phones and a server on my desk. I was able to receive DHCP throught the network and the Astra phones worked great. I then moved the setup to a demo lab. I backed up my config and installed it on the new demo server. However now my phones will not receive or renew thier ip address. I have wireshark on our DHCP server and I can see the request and I can also the dhcp server send out the ack but they never make it to phone. I have checked all of my access lists on my router and things are good. I can eve plug a computer into the same wall jack as the phone and it pulls an ip address fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also noticed that if we remove the DHCP reservation from the server it will at least pull an IP address. It fails to register with PBXnSIP but at least it gets an address. I am starting to think this might be a firmware issue. Tom
