  1. Altering the license code Upper/Lower case swapping has no effect. Even though it passes the license check, the same : Version: 4.5.1.1107 Zeta Perseids (CentOS64) Created on: Dec 20 2012 12:37:47 License Status: No license License Duration: Permanent messages from log: [0] 20130219012157: Cannot send packet: No license [0] 20130219012212: Writing the license code... [0] 20130219012334: Cannot send packet: No license continues to come out and the software will not register phones. reverting back to: Version: 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (CentOS64) Created on: Jun 19 2012 08:24:50 License Status: snom ONE blue License Duration: Permanent It appears that 4.5.1.1107 does not like snomONE BLUE customers. How can we get this resolved? Jim
  2. I guess the question/issue about the installation script errors for CentOS got missed.... is there any response from SNOM about this? Jim
  3. The IP Configuration Page's help function incorrectly directs you to http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Email_settings source page: /reg_plug_ip.htm Also the IPv6 link local address points to "/undefined" Jim
  4. FYI, The ordering process for snomONE Free does NOT send an email a listed on the confirmation page. If you miss the activation code, go to the "Your Orders" to get the activation code. Jim
  5. also... the install for NTPD on CentOS is: yum install ntp not yum install ntpd as listed in the script Jim
  6. I received the following error when attempting to install snomONE V5 for Centos 6.3 (x86-64) --2012-11-03 10:23:29-- http://www.snomone.com/downloads/snomONE/centos64/pbxctrl-centos64-5.0.0.0 Resolving www.snomone.com... 46.252.197.164 Connecting to www.snomone.com|46.252.197.164|:80... connected. 7. I have to believe this "feature" manifested itself due to the speed of one particular agent. Calls on park are not usually orphaned for more than a few seconds. In this case the Park time exceeded the 1m default, thus rolled back to the agent causing confusion. We increased the Park time to 3m to give this agent time to turn the call over. Jim
  8. Thanks for the reply. After some testing, it is working "as designed". We just have one agent that doesn't respond to Park Orbits in a timely fashion. Since that isn't likely to change, we simply increased the "Park Reminder" time from the default (1min) to 3 min. This is in the Edit Park Orbit page. Thanks! Jim
  9. Calls parked by an agent are returned to that agent's call queue after 60 seconds. This is a behavour change from the prior version of snomONE blue and is unacceptable. What options do we need to modify to keep parked calls on park rather than just returning them to the queue? Jim
  10. Well again after much testing, it appears that the "RCF3325 (P-Asserted Identity)" from the JavaScript dropdown was what NexVortex expected. It was either close to what was passed in rel 4.3. Jim
  11. What was the default value of the JavaScript Select in 4.3? We never had to do anything before going to 4.5. Jim
  12. What was the behavior in release 4.3? The default for the trunk appears to be p-assertive. Jim
  13. After upgrade to 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (CentOS64), the outbound ANI (Caller ID) is not being passed. Did a new parameter come into effect? The extensions in question all have "Block Outgoing caller-ID" set to NO and all have a valid ANI set. Jim
  14. If you only update the Domain Settings (and I finally found that), it still does not give you the granularity you need if you have multiple Dial Plans (sites in more than one area code.. ). If you leave the phone's dialplan set (in the Template), you will NEVER see the PBXnSIP dial Plans you create under the domain. This seems to be a change, but I could be wrong.... regardless, the WIKI doesn't really explain this well at all. Jim
  15. There are no PnP Settings under Domain........ Well.. after MUCH trial and error, I found the only way to get this to work is to modify the PnP Template snom_3xx_phone.xml and comment out the following line: <!--<user_dp_str idx="{lc}" perm="RW">{dialplan snom}</user_dp_str> disable to allow PBXnSIP Dial Plans by Domain --> Nothing else works properly. Jim
  16. We recently upgraded to 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (CentOS64) and are having an issue where PBXnSIP (snomONE Blue) is generating a "default Dial Plan for every phone configured rather than using the Domain Specified Dial Plan. We have a dial plan in our domain called "TESTING" with only one pattern: 100;NexVortex;;1*;1*;;false Extension 105 has "TESTING" set as it's dial plan I've done a RESET on the phone to ensure auto-provisioning gets the PBXnSIP generated information. The dial plan the phone gets (by going to WebUI Settings: user_dp_str1!: !^(1[0-9]{10})!sip:\1@\d;user=phone!d !^([2-7][0-9]{2})!sip:\1@\d;user=phone!d !^(8[2-7][0-9]{2})!sip:\1@\d;user=phone!d !^([2-9]11)!sip:\1@\d;user=phone!d The only customized templates we have are : snom_370.xml snom_821.xml snom_870.xml and user_dp_str is not mentioned at any of our customized XML Also... the AUTO_DIAL, OVERLAP_DIALING and NUMBER_GUESSING are all set to OFF, yet the phones keep dialing after the 3rd or 4th digit. Before this PBXnSIP release, we had to press the CHECK key to actually dial.... no the phone seems to have a mind of it's own. What is the solution to this issue and when will it be available? Setting the DP on each phone is an unacceptable solution. Jim
  17. I removed the %C from the Recording options and got further. Now the audio play is launched, but gets stuck at "Loading". I'm using Safari 6.0 on OS X 10.8 (aka Mountain Lion). I also tried it under Firefox 14.0.1 and that works... but Safari 6 has issues with the player. Jim
  18. We recently upgraded to 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (CentOS64) and are attempting to use the new play recording feature In call history (either in Domain or System) when clicking on the RECORDING > icon, the following error is generated: File playrec.wav not found. Recording Recordings/pbx.domain.com/20120728/xxxxxxxxxx_Agent/021057-i-xxxxxxxxxx_Attendant-117-120-àc212745002.wav not found on the system. Please verify if this file exists on the file system Please ask your system administrator to check the log file. The snomlog's confirm the Web Interface error message: [5] 2012/07/28 09:18:40: Play request received for Recordings/pbx.domain.com/20120728/xxxxxxxxxx_Agent/021057-i-xxxxxxxxxx_Attendant-117-120-c212745002.wav [5] 2012/07/28 09:18:40: Web Server: File playrec.wav not found I've checked the real path to the recordings: /usr/local/snomONE/Recordings/pbx.domain.com/20120728/xxxxxxxxxx_Agent and the file indeed exists, but the name is different: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 396204 Jul 28 02:11 021057-i-xxxxxxxxxx_Attendant-117-120-%cmc%-3212745002.wav We do have a custom path installed for the recordings: Recording Location: Recordings/$o/$d/$a/$t-$i-$u-$x-$l-$c-$n.wav It appears the web interface may be expecting a "default location/path/file name" Is this a known bug in this version of snomONE? If so, when is the fix planned? If not then how do we get this fixed? Jim
  19. Does this release announcement mean that the 4.5 snomONE version(Epsilon Geminids) is ready for Production Use? We currently are at 2011-4.2.0.3981 (Linux) and there seems to be a disconnect between what is listed as Production Ready (4.3) and what is delivered when you click on the 4.3 Download for Centos-64 (2011-4.2.0.3981). reference: http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Upgrades_(Release_4.3) There is also no indication what the state of the snonONE 4.5 is on the Download pages, beyond several Alpha/Beta/etc releases and what they have added/fixed. reference: http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Upgrades_(Release_4.5) A statement of Production Readiness would be very helpful for the real world community. Jim
  20. I have been trying to setup custom XML for the snom821. I am running 2011-4.2.0.3981 (Darwin) I went to the HTML Templates to add code for the snom821, but there is no template available to modify. I was able to get this to work by modifying the snom820.htm Template, then manually edit the tags in the file generated from 820 to 821 and rebooted the phone server to get it read into memory. But this is not an acceptable long-term solution. Has this been documented as a bug yet?
  21. Is there going to be a MAC OS X version of the soft phone?
