Virtual-MIS
Is it possible to setup a dial plan that would allow calls initiated from a analog phone on an FXS gateway to call out on an analog trunk on an FXO gateway without ending the entered digits with a completion code (e.g. the # sign)? I would like to make the analog phone behave similar to how it would operate on a traditional PBX.
Vodia PBX
The PBX does not collect the digits, this is already done on the FXS gateway. The FXS gateway has usually a dial plan where you can define when it sends the INVITE to the PBX. What FXS are you using?
Virtual-MIS
I am using an AudioCodes MP-
gotvoip
that is a very mature device and I would be surpised if they didn't support a 1xxxxx type of dial plan like the IP phones do. Did you check out the manual for dial plan. I tried to find the mp114 manual off Audiocodes web site but you need a login. At the very lease they should have a timer so after 3 seconds it will send the call along.
brandywinetech.com
I have used these and didn't have to change any dial plan entries , the FXS would just time out and dial through the system on the FXO ports , send you .ini files if you like , yori
Virtual-MIS
yori - Yes, could I get a copy of your .ini files? Send me a personal message and I will give you my email address. Matt
