App not holding credentials

The App isn't holding credentials any longer, even when the 'check to stay logged in' box is ticked.

App has been uninstalled and reinstalled, App has been reset (10MB to 8k) and repaired (got a checkmark) through Windows Apps, advanced options.

Keeps coming up with message that it is having problems connecting to vodia servers before allowing entry of domain address.

same here... Message on app is Vodia Phone app is trying to establish connection to the server but it's taking longer than usual. Allow a few more moments before resetting the app.  Then it opens and no settings saved.  Need to enter every time.  Windows store says installed version 5.  Did getting it 'ready to use with version 69' wreck it for those on version 68 (we are on 68.0.24)??  We have a lot of users using this app ....

We are running on V68 until the UI gets fixed on 69.

We are also seeing this with our windows app. Every time you close it, and reopen it, it will say it is taking longer than usual. I have made sure I have the latest windows store version.

Update: Windows store lied to me. I went back into it, and saw I had an update to Vodia. The update seems to have fixed the connection and relog issue on my side.

what seems to be happening is that there was an app update that when you close the app it is still running.  Reopening from a shortcut runs a second instance and this is confusing Vodia.  You need to quit the app from the task bar or restore from the currently running instance.  If you go back into the store there is now an 'update' button.  This now seems to not run a second instance. Clicking the shortcut doesn't open the app, you still need to select restore form the running task icon.

Its hard to tell what version you are running, Windows Store says V5 (even after the 'update'), and Vodia says VodiaPhone/3.5.5 Desktop

  • 2 weeks later...

Second instance was causing session issues by making users to re-authenticate, therefore app is locked to a single one. In order to change accounts please use Logout option, and to close the app - Quit app.

With the latest update, when app is closed, it's being put into tray which allows all the notification to come through and keep user's session alive. Which in the essence is a fundamental feature we did not have until now
