Herbert
Hello everyone, I would like to signal an external call to 2 extensions at the same time. However, if only one employee is present, the second caller should receive a busy signal and the free extension should not ring for the second incoming call. There used to be a "busy on busy" feature. Is there something like this in the configuration? Or how can this be replicated?

Vernon
If you are triggering a call to two extensions at the same time then you would be using a ring group. If the second extension/employee is not present, they can just use DND. This way only one phone rings, but you might have to make some other changes. I don't know the exact version of your PBX, but you might be able to disable call waiting so even in a ring group more than one caller cannot reach the destination, or if your PBX version supports it, you can limit the extension to a single line. Does your regular call flow on no answer always result in a busy signal?
Vodia PBX
You might just want to enable "disconnect call with busy when extension is busy" (in dom_ext2.htm), which will send a 486 code back to the caller and then its up to the caller what to do with it.
