Vodia PBX
what does this mean: UDP: recvfrom returns EAGAIN That means the PBX wanted to get a UDP packet from the OS, but that packet was not available any more. It can happen, but it should be rare.
hosted
will this cause a call to drop? or would the packet be just lost. what should i look at to resolve this? with asterisk this error means Bad UDP checksum.. I get these every once in a while: [5] 2009/02/10 13:08:23: UDP: recvfrom returns EAGAIN [5] 2009/02/10 13:34:34: Last message repeated 8 times OS= CentOS
Vodia PBX
[5] 2009/02/10 13:08:23: UDP: recvfrom returns EAGAIN [5] 2009/02/10 13:34:34: Last message repeated 8 times Eight in thirty minutes is no reason for concern. Maybe the cable is a little bit instable. But the PBX will not drop a call because of that.
hosted
ok thanks. This is the first time I have seen it. I will replace the switch and cable to see if that clears it up.
catejust
What if this issue is happening a few hundred times a second? The logs are showing it literally with that frequency.. If a pbx were on a lan.. would there be anything that might cause this?
