(white box) any software change or a couple calls sends the processor sky high: comcerto:~# uptime 23:08:57 up 6 days, 6:55, 1 user, load average: 7.14, 3.68, 2.19 pdflush is very active. That is the service which writes to the flash file system. There are limits to this embedded system. The Linux kernel has a hard time writing all those changed files to the file system. So I dont understand why this box is bad? its the white box been running for a long time? is the flash used up and in a death spiral?
