mariotelephone
I have the phones working. Converted these from a hosted solution and the customer wants them to behave as before. First, the Cisco logo is on the screen: How do I remove it? Can I put something in it's place? Second, they want to make calls by simply dialing 9+ number without pressing "spkr" or "NewCall" or "Dial" Third, how do I program the buttons to become BLFs and to autodial features? Help is greatly appreciated
pbxuser911
you will need to put the logo on a server and tell the SIP<mac> file where to grab the file from i think the pressing 9 is a Skinny call control protocol setting, not SIP this phone doesn't support BLF to auto dial features, you might be able to do that by building a "Services" file

Also, please explain the "services" file and how to do the auto-dial. THANK YOU

Help is greatly appreciated I found that if I put "http://x.x.x.x/filename.bmp" it would not actually load the bmp (no time to troubleshoot beyond this) but it did succeed in getting blank space on the phone instead of the cisco logo.....sigh

Tom Waterman
I am assueming if you put http://x.x.x.x/filename.bmp on the browser, you would see the image on the browser. Folks, I have been working on this as well. I have the logo in the HTML folder and if I check the phone the logo link is correct. However I believe the problem lies with the username/password. If I try to http to the file I am using such as htt://pbx/logo.bmp which is located in my html folder it will fail. However if I open Internet Explorer, log into the PBX in one session and then try to browse to my logo it works. any thoughts? Tom
