Friedom-Tech Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Hi, Polycoms are using 3.1.3.0439 and pbxnsip is version 3.4.0.3201 the server is on a local lan with the phones with no firewall at all. but when people listen to messages or even delete them sometimes the light on the polycom continues to flash... is there anything i can do about this? Friedom-Tech Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Posted November 10, 2009 *99? matt i can hit *99 and that will clear message waiting signal...but that does not fix the underlying issue of why this is happening....there is no reason why they should have to hit *99 every time they have listened to their messages... Friedom-Tech Posted November 11, 2009 Author Report Posted November 11, 2009 Does the PBX send a NOTIFY to the phone? there is a lot of traffic back and forth so difficult to discern that...also this is an intermittent issue...not happening every time on every phone... Quote

pbx support Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Did you resolve this? I am getting complaints from 1 customer about the same thing... same firmware even.. There was a defect that was fixed recently related to MWI. Not sure this was in the version you are talking about (seems like fairly old version) Quote
pbx support Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 In the polycom firmware? No, on PBX software. Fix was related to mwi blinking on the phone even after you delete the message. Quote
