gokhanuslu Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Hi everyone, I am an TELES engineer. we have been start using PBXNSIP in our device. so we have 4 FXS 4 FXO device. i registered 4 FXS ports as accounts to PBXNSIP. everything is quite good. so FXS ports are like accounts. we plugged analog phones to FXS ports. they have their own voicemail bla bla. BUT we are unable to make HOLD and TRANSFER. because analog phones do not have hold buttons. while one of the FXS ports(analog phones) are in a call, we dont know hoe to hold call and transfer it using the analog phone. our traditional PBX does it like : if you are i na call and if you press # key, PBX understands that you wanna hold the call, and remote side is holded. how can i do this in PBXNSIP using TELES analog FXS box ports? Thanks a lot BR Gokhan Quote
Vodia PBX Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 AFAIK many ATA implement hold by using the hook flash. Transfer can be done using the transfer star code. If that does not help, we must have a more flexible way of controlling a line with DTMF keys. We saw that problem already with the recording. Quote
