jim@itstod.se Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Hi, We have just set up our first system for a client. PBX version: 2011-4.2.0.3981 (Win64), snom 320 phones firmware version 8.4.31. Now we want to add some customized settings to the phone settings (Swedish language etc.). We have tried to put a snom_320_custom.xml file in the tftp directory but when we reboot the phone and look in the phone logs it does not look like the phone is searching for this file at all. We have changed nothing in the phones settings, all settings are done with PnP from the PBX. What are we doing wrong here? Regards, Jim Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 If you want to make changes to all phones, I would just edit the template from the web interface (admin/web/templates). You can edit the snom_3xx_phone.xml, that is probably the easiest way to get things done. Quote
jim@itstod.se Posted March 20, 2011 Author Report Posted March 20, 2011 Worked great - thanks . But I want to tell you about a problem I noticed - when using Firefox only a part av the content of snom_3xx_phone.xml was loaded to the text box where you can edit it. I had to use IE 8 to get it to work. Regards, Jim Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Yea thats a known issue. Probably something in the AJAX part where it fetches the page from the server, it is on the to-do list. Quote
