marsbewohner
Great thing, looking forward to it! In the text it says that contacts have to be added manually. Couldn't you just read the LDAP adressbook and all the contacts from it? It could be done once at the first setup and later manually initiated by the user. mattlandis
Yes, its very possible to do that and much more. Balancing features and time to market is the key. Our two goals were to make something fairly immediately useable and have immediate benefits. (Adding all features to that is impossible. ;-) Features can be added. marsbewohner
Hi mattlandis, thanks for sharing this! A few remarks (besides the DND features that are listed as not working): - clicking Edit/Delete while having an empty list and nothing to edit will throw an error - the Edit/add dialogue should close itself after you click edit/add - Send IM would be a cool feature, it could use the SnomOne interface for it and send an IM to the phone
mattlandis
>clicking Edit/Delete while having an empty list and nothing to edit will throw an error This is already fixed but not released. >the Edit/add dialogue should close itself after you click edit/add actually not closing is by design. This lets you easily add one contact after another. >Send IM would be a cool feature, it could use the SnomOne interface for it and send an IM to the phone on the roadmap.
