mattlandis
sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions. Trying to understand this snomONE and CSTA. Does CSTA respect extension security? for example if an extension does NOT have the permission (snomONE extension permission) to monitor another extension--will CSTA still pass the monitoring informaiton? It appears to allow anyone to see anyones DND status for example. Maybe once again I'm overlooking something or just need clarification. Vodia PBX
The general rule still applies: If you present a password that shows you are a user, you get only what you are allowed to see as the user. CSTA, SIP or HTTP it does not make a difference.
mattlandis
okay any extension can "GetDoNotDisturb" setting for all extensions. Should that be? Its actually nice but wondering how it should work.
pbx support
I don't think we apply any permission rules in that case. But we can enforce it if needed.

mattlandis
Please communicate what the change will be because this will change how our app works I'm sure. Actually being able to get the dnd status of all extensions for the client app is great because this is something I've been asking for for awhile. So the key is please communicate what change will happen. take care,
