jholland
How do you allow subdomains to have there own music on hold sourse? Perferabbly Wav inputs. Never mind I figured out where the wav input recording will be stored.

Wim van Ommen
On this link: http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Music_on_Hold#RTP_Stream The following text is displayed: There are several external tools available that are able to generate a compliant RTP stream As I can't find any of these several tools could anybody be more specific? Vodia PBX
Try your favorite search engine on "Streaming Audio Server"... Just make sure that the server support G.711 RTP format. I used one a long time ago, unfortunately forgot about the name.
Wim van Ommen
Well that is too bad, because if I understand it correctly all the server I find create a stream which you connect to, in my opinion PBXNSIP wants the server to setup the connection to the port that is provided in the webinterface (or am I missing something?) Vodia PBX
There is a list on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...g_media_systems. I agree most of it focus on radio broadcast, but as far as I can see they also have a simple RTP streaming mode. The whole RTP story started in the broadcast area, so many servers still support RTP. And of course in Windows you can use the loopback device to feed audio content into the WAV input device.
Kristan
And of course in Windows you can use the loopback device to feed audio content into the WAV input device. If only it didn't end up as horrible screeching noises after a few days I have to admit, I've not tried it for a few versions, is it fixed? Vodia PBX
I've not tried it for a few versions, is it fixed? Well we put some extra checks into the code - but we were never able to reproduce the problem in the lab really, so it is not clear if those extra fixes did the job...
