I am getting up to speed with PNP and I cannot find where I can preset Idle Screen to custom settings.

I have build a XML page for SNOM870:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<settings>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="1" perm="RW">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="2" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="3" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="4" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="5" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="6" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="7" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="8" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="9" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="10" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="11" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_xml_screen_url idx="12" perm="">https://sip.domaine.com/branding/IdleScreen/870/idle-screen-green.xml</user_xml_screen_url>

<user_descr_contact idx="1" perm="RW">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="2" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="3" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="4" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="5" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="6" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="7" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="8" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="9" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="10" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="11" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

<user_descr_contact idx="12" perm="">off</user_descr_contact>

</settings>

Is this OK? and naming it "snom_870_custom.xml"

Where do I place the file?

and how do I tell provisioning process to grab this settings?

thanks

You can do this on the web page control.

1. Search for snom_3xx_phone.xml

2. open the file and add this syntax anywhere on the file make sure it does overlap with anything else.

<user_xml_screen_url idx="INDEX" perm="RW">You will add you URL here</user_xml_screen_url>

3. Save the file and reboot the phone

for any body that wants to try this you can use this link to generate an image.
