ash720 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Hello All Incoming and outgoing calls working fine via Sangoma B600 with NBE. Current issue is if call is not answered by main extensions in hunt group it gets sent to group mailbox. Group mailbox starts recording without first giving announcement and continues to record after caller has hung up. Only way I can get the system to disconnect is to physically unplug line. Any pointers? Quote
pbx support Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 When the caller hangs up, the NBE should send the SIP "BYE" to the PBX. A simple SIP trace would tell us what and why this is happening. http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Logging_SIP_Settings explains how to take the SIP trace, if you did not know it already. Quote
Vodia support Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Can you call another users mailbox and press 8XXX XXX being a user extension number, 8 bieng the mailbox prefix, if you don't hear the mailbox announcement then you could be missing some prompts. you can also download the prompts here http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Language_Prompts and replace the file in the snomONE working directory. ash720 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 Checked other mailboxes and company mailbox from internal extensions, received prompts and seemed to leave messages OK. Please see attached sip trace. Let me know if I need to give any more information. sip trace.txt Quote
pbx support Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 Seems like the PBX is getting the BYE from NBE and the 200 OK is going back to the NBE. That should disconnect the call. ash720 Posted February 22, 2012 Author Report Posted February 22, 2012 OK, so does this mean the problem lies elsewhere? Can you suggest where else I should be looking. I have noticed that when an external call gets put through to the group mailbox, there is no announcement. On listening to the message, only silenec is recorded until the external caller hangs up and then the dial tone is recorded until the line is physically disconnected. Quote
