Inter domain calls

Given the situation where you have two domains on a PBXnSIP server, one domain has 2xx series extensions and the other has 6xx series extension numbers, is there any easy way to enable inter-domain calling by extension number?

I have experimented with dial plans and read the WIKI entry on Inter domain calling but so far cannot get this working.

Thanks in advance for any advice

You need to declare each extension as a tel:alias.

So you would create in the alias column of extension 200 the following "tel:200".

This is used as a Global Scope alias and therefore allows you to cross-domains

3.1.1 will have a new method in the dial plan for this (see http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Dial_Plan, "Try Loopback"). I believe this will fix the problems in this area along with the requirement that domains can be shifted within a server farm. If you can wait a few more days then you can just use this new method.
