Springboard Provisioning for 870

I am trying to figure out which template to be customized to implement AutoProvision mentioned in this snom WiKi Category:HowTo:Video_Streaming in particular for the Springboard icons (i.e. steps 6~8). I just do not seem to be able to find the file to edit in Domain Template setting section. Could someone cast a light for me?

I am using the latest firmware 8.7.3.19 on snom870.

There are 2 ways to do this,

 

1. you can type the following URL on your browser

 

http://your phones IP/dummy.htm?settings=save&idle_icon_01=-1&idle_icon_02=-1&idle_icon_03=-1&idle_icon_04=-1&idle_icon_05=20&idle_icon_06=-1&idle_icon_07=-1&idle_icon_08=-1&idle_icon_09=-1&idle_icon_10=9&idle_icon_11=-1&idle_icon_12=-1&idle_icon_13=-1&idle_icon_14=-1&idle_icon_15=5

 

 

2. copy paste this string into the customize section----->Template--->pnp----> snom_3xx_phone.xml you will have to be in admin mode, save and reboot the phone.

<idle_icon_02 perm="RW">-1</idle_icon_02>

<idle_icon_03 perm="RW">-1</idle_icon_03>

I was suspecting that this is the way, but did not want to blindingly attempt this. So there is no way to set provision for each model at the moment, right. Just checking. Anyway Great, it has got buttons in order, now.

 

By the way, what parameter do I have to change to prevent from getting a dark screen few seconds after the idle screen kicks in? When the screen dims, it is almost indiscernible to recognize the video image content. Thanks.

You can provision each phone under the extension customization tab, but you will have to add it 1 by.

So can not be set by the phone model, but by extension... Okay.
