On the CS410, we have the nice problem that the input is analog - that means in addition to the DTMF tone, we have a reduced signal and added noise. That makes DTMF detection not easier. Maybe try 1024 and 2048... The error rate will probably also increase. I guess you can imagine that I am not a big fan of analog lines... Especially if they are long!
