Strange behavior

This is the setup.

 

Mediation -> Pbxnsip tunk.

Sip provider trunk.

 

When calling internally to a pbxnsip extension everything works fine.

When calling externally the call lasts almost exacly 20 sec according to pbxnsip it lasts 30sec, Then the Office communicator hangs up.

When calling to an pbxnsip conf, or a attendand profile the communicator says "calling...." but pbxnsip says connected and there is no sound in the communicator.

Even though I registered the communicator sip using +4613432423@192.168.0.40;transport=tcp it dont ring.

 

I have set the prefered codec to 8 to force it to try the a-law, still the same problem.

 

I've tried changing the port range of mediation server from 600000 - 640000 to 49000-640000, still the same wierd scenario.

 

Calling externally / internally (even attendant profiles and so on) with for example X-lite works flawless,

and when checking the logs it says terminate and BYE and stuff.

 

What Am I missing?

 

Why does the midiation server hangup the call after 20sec? Why isn't it conencting the call to the attendant profiles or VM.

 

Anybody else have had this problem and whant to share an opinion?

please provide some more informations about your setup. Are you running everything on seperate machines (ocs, ocs mediation, pbxnsip)? Did your carefully read the wiki: http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Office_C...ications_Server

 

Can you exactly trace who is hanging up after 20 seconds? Did you enabled logging in your Communicator Client? How to do with GPO's. Maybe this will provide some infos.

What about the first 20 seconds? How is the voice quality?
