  1. On a scale between 0 and 10, how useful is http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Audiocodes?

For me maybe 1, it does point in the right direction for a few things, however I would assume most people will be setting up an FXO not FXS so FXO help might be usefull.

Just having a configuration ini file does not help a whole lot, There are still settings needed to be made in the PBX that arent listed.

Another thing I dont understand is: Why can't we just SIP Register from the PBX to the Gateway to handle outbound and inbound calling? It seems like that would be the easy way to do it, making things less complicated. I know you have no control over the way the audiocodes box handles things, I just don't get why they havent added that as a feature.

  2. I was able to get it mostly working, I have it accepting calls and rolling them over to the AA, And i am placing calls out through the pstn trunk, however when i place a call All i get on the IP phone is ringing, the call goes through and is answered, the answering party can hear what i am saying into the IP phone but all the ip phone can hear is ringing.

On a side note, is it possible to pass the caller id info from the mp-118 to the pbx?

  3. I am not sure where this post should go, so i am dumping it here, it might have more to do with CDR and SOAP than anything.

I want to be able to post the active call list to a community site here in our business, we have a application that we use constantly through the day, and i want to populate a panel in it with the call data i.e. Calls on hold, active calls, calls that are parked, and the CID from the calls that are ongoing, This will help us with many things, mostly with the lack of a proper sla/sca/blf functionality. We poked around the SOAP stuff, but were unable to find any realtime call info, I know the internal site has a realtime call log.

    Thanks.

  4. I used to have this working but just tried it and pbxnsip didn't send out any notifies running the latest RC1 candidate when I called the trunk. It shouldn't matter if it is an ITSP or a Gateway. I added co1 co2 co3 co4 to the trunk and then on the snom phone on the function keys I mapped line 7,8,9,10 to co1,2,3,4. Are you setting it up the same way? BLF has many interpretations.

Yes, I am setting it up the same way. I am using the most current beta, 2098

  5. I'm in round 2 of evaluating PbxnSip, and i still cannot get the phones to BLF co lines. Currently, I am using snom 370's with firmware 7.1.19 in the function key field in the phone's web interface i have tried the co lines in shared line, extension and line and i cannot get it to light with an outgoing call or incoming. The trunk that i have the CO's set on right now is a ITSP trunk, do CO lines not work with ITSP?

I have had good luck with everything else, I am very happy with pbxnsip for the most part, but monitoring CO lines is very importent to our oganization, we need to have this working.

    Thanks for any advice.

  6. We are selling and installing the 370 as well. Unfortunately PnP does not work with PBXnSIP. The main key for the phone to work is the correct IDENTITY setting. Make sure it is exactly the same setting as one of your 300, 320 or 360 phones which have been configured with PnP (except login data and passowrd of course).

Then you need to specify the starcodes in the advanced settings.

If you do that, it?ll work fine!

I dont really care about PnP, The phone works great, I just cannot get it to do SLA key system emulation with the line buttons. What do you mean by "specify the starcodes in the advanced settings."?

  7. I have tried in line, shared line and extension. I put the call on hold, move to the other handset and try to pick it up, the phone just beeps and doesnt pick it up. F_HOLD is what the phone is sending when it places the call on hold.

  8. I am using pbxnsip 2.0.3 and snom 370's I am trying to get Key system functionality.

I have been able to get BLF working fine, I can see when a call comes in or goes out, I can see if I put it on hold from all phones, but when i put it on hold with phone A and walk over to phone B I cannot pick it up, the phone just beeps at me. I'm not sure what other info you need to help me with this, but reply with whatever is needed and I will get it back up here, Would really like to get SLA functionality asap.

    Thanks.
