    Yea, the Mac installation is a little bit screwed up. We need to focus on a new Mac installer.

     

    if you need beta tester (for new mac installer) just say. at the moment, mac installation is not working correctly.

     

    PS: I hope I'm not the only one pbxnsip user that use mac :-)

    I beleive these are all very clear in the wiki.

    - Send message waiting indication:

    Sends a message waiting light, to the phone. http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Extension#Mailbox

    - Call cell phone when new message arrives:

    It can call your cell phone to notify that there is a new message in your mailbox.

    - Mailbox Escape Account (overrides domain setting):

    If someone presses 0 while in your mailbox, you can set an extension where they should be transferred to. http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Domain_S..._Escape_Account

     

    - Mailbox Escape Account (when caller presses 0):

    Mailbox escape domain setting, if not overridden in mailbox

    - Mailbox Direct Dial Prefix:

  4. installation problems

    I use Mac OS X 10.5.5 (Leopard) and pbxnsip 3.x.

     

    When I install pbxnsip for the first time, I get msg "install failed" and on the second install, msg "install succeeded". but I have now installation in two different directories:

     

    1. /Library/pbxnsip

    2. /private/var/run/pbx

     

    .. and pbxnsip does not start automatically. I can start pbx manually or wait for next server reboot, to start pbx automatically.

     

    can someone check this or repair? I tested this on three different computers and it is the same.

    huh. after restarting server the working directory change from /private to /library. I did not change this .. why is this happening to me? :-)

     

    PS: mailbox from mac client - Zoiper is not working correctly. when I press 2 for leave a msg, Zoiper disconnect me.

    Check if the PBX runs in the expected directory. See the status screen of the PBX.

     

    why is audio files in two directories? /library/pbxnsip and /private/var/run/pbx? I copy now the new audio files to second directory and it works!

    The TOS is not so serious and is fixed in newer versions. The WAV problem may be because of upper/lowercase problems? Check if there is anything uppercase in the file system. And check if the PBX process has the permissions to read.

     

    All WAV files are lowercase and also have permissions to read. grr.

     

    what can be the problem?

    why could not open WAV file? both files are in /Library/pbxnsip/audio_en/ (Mac OS X) and what is TOS?

    I install pbxnsip 3.x for mac and also enable mailbox, but I got always voice "no answer ..".

    I set mailbox settings for extension ..

     

    - mailbox enabled: yes

    - time until mailbox picks up: 30 sec

    - maximum number of messages: 10

     

    I also read wiki.pbxnsip.com .. but still does not work.

     

    I also noticed some differences in included audio files on mac and win for version 3.x.. log report says that there are missing some audio files.

     

     

    PS: sorry for my english, is not so great :-)
