Yes this also works. In this environment you must use the username@domain form for the account. The password can either be the web password for that user or the domain provisioning password (if set).
The URL that you have to put into the phone must be in the form http://pbx-address/provisioning/snomxxx.htm (no MAC address).
Thanks, but not quite sure what you mean by username@domain form for the account.

Hi
We are using the PBXnSIP hosted platform (ver 3.3.0.3165) and I am trying to configure SNOM handsets buttons via the PBXnSIP interface (domain settings/buttons).
Can anyone tell me if this feature works on the the hosted platform and what needs to be set on the PBX and handsets to get this working?
Thanks

How do you share a voice mail box?
i want to have a general voice mail that every employee here inthe office will know when there is a message left there, and should also be able to receive its own voice mails
i have 3 general voice mail boxes at least which i want to be able to share
Hi
You can create another extension, call it "Main Mailbox", then in the Edit page add all the extension numbers in the "Permissions to monitor this account:" field, seperated with a space (201 202 203 ...). Add this extesion to your final destination of the hunt group ect and calls will go to the extensions voicemail and notify all the extensions listsed in the permissions.

I have an issue were an extension is a member of a shared mailbox, which is working fine, but if a message is left in the users personal mailbox 1st and then another is left in the shared mailbox, once the user has listened to the 1st voicemail message, the lamp is tuned off and does not indicate that there are still messages in the other mailbox, this is the same if the group voicemail was 1st, then the lamp does not show that there are still messages in the personal mailbox. The messages are still there though and in the case of a group mailbox the lamp remains lit on the other extensions.
The customer is using SNOM handsets.
Any one come accross this before?

Hi All,
I have a customer with an office 10 with a single hunt group with all the phones in, and they just want any voicemails to go to a single mailbox - that's fine, I can send it to one of their extensions as the final stage in the hunt group. However, they want to get notifications on voicemails on all the extensions rather than just the one I select. Is there any way to do this, or a recommended way? The phones are a mix of polycoms and siemens C475IP gigasets. I'm not sure if the gigasets support remote VM - there seems to be an option but I've not had a chance to have a play yet...
Thanks,
Kristan

There is a slight bug in that if the extension gets a messge to the personal mainbox then a message from the shared mailbox, the lamp will go out (on SNOM handsets) after the user has listened to the personal greeting (or which ever message was recieved 1st) so the user may not know there are still messages in the shared mailbox.
The other extensions in the list will stay lit until someone in the group listens to the message, so someone should see that there are messages, or you can email it.
Snom Auto Prov

Hi
I am having an issue where the auto provisioning from the PBX seems to change the web interface login details for the Snom 360 handset. I plug a snom 360 into the network and set it up for auto provisioning from the PBX and after rebooting the handset it upgrades to V7.3.14 and gets its settings from the PBX. However I am then unable to log back onto the handsets webinterface using the password I set on the phone before the auto provisioning. I have also tried the snom default and the passwords assigned to the user account.
Does the PBX change the web access password for the phone during auto provisioning and if so does anyone know what it is changed too?
Thanks
