  1. I have a domain setup to use the button profiles to act as a key system instead of a pbx. In the Trunk "Main" I have lines co1 co2 co3. In trunk 2 "Second" I have lines bo1 bo2.

In 3.4-3.6 this does not work because the buttons don't care which one is pressed, but in 4.2 the button you press is the button the call goes out over.

If I assign the buttons to a profile of shared lines:

    1 - shared line - co1

    2 - shared line - co2

    3 - shared line - co3

    4 - shared line - bo1

    5 - shared line - bo2

Calling out using button 4 through the Second trunk only gives me an Authentical Required error in the logs and a Not Found on the phone. I assume it is because the phones default dial plan and the call trying to go out over a different trunk is conflicting and not allowing it to proceed.

Is this done correctly but what I am trying to do is not a valid application? If not, is there a way to do this?

    Thanks.

  2. is there not a way to extend this time? If someone is in a quiet office listening to someone talk about a product or in a phone conference he may not make a sound for some time. 120 seconds is just too small of a time for silence.

If your wife calls... how much talking do you get in?

  3. We're getting multiple messages emailed to us every day with the folloing,

    The call between sip:5556661234@domain.com;user=phone and

    sip: 5556661234@domain.com;user=phone has been disconnected

because of media timeout (120 seconds), 4202/10194 packets have been

    received/sent

Some people are complaining of calls dropping with this. If one end of the call sits dead for 2 minutes while the other is talking does it end the call? Where can we change this timer or stop this error from happening?

  4. Yeah, I think that would be a really good idea. I also still have amjor concern that I cannot add additional admin users and assign them specific roles to work on.

I agree.. I have a few roles that I would like to hand out to others, yet do not wish to give these users full access to the entire system, but the user must also have access to system settings / MoH etc.

  5. If you go into the Registrar page you can add a contact number at the bottom of the page.

    information would be something like

    sip:5557271111@IPAddressOfRegistrar

This then makes the system think the cell phone is a registered extension and calls it at the same time it calls the IP Phone. Plus it works in a Hunt group.

Each outgoing call to a cell phone uses a trunk, once one cell phone or IP phone is connected the other trunks are released.

This feature works on version 2 of pbxnsip. Not so sure about 3+.
