I have just read tech note; http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Branch_Offices and I dont understand how this is a SIP tunk solution.

 

Asking a customer on Asterisk or a 3rd party PABX to create an extension for us to register to and sending calls to that extension wont give them trunk side features that SIP trunking delivers.

Customer wanting to SIP trunk to us preferr to connect with username and password and not by IP is this possible?

[Using PABX to offer SIP Trunks]

I am using PABX for SIP trunks registered as extensions and it works great except for inbound number presentation.

 

If I assign multiple DID's to the extension - then register a PABX to the extension - there is no way I can pass the different DID's to the PABX behind.

 

Any ideas or suggestions?

 

I have tried trunk to trunk to achieve SIP trunking result but no luck.

Hi,

I am trying to setup trunk to trunk routing on PABX.

 

I am trying to design a solution where we can take a call in on trunk A and direct the call out trunk B without messing with call destination and headers. Does anyone have any ideas how to achieve this?

[I have broken my Snom One SOHO]

I have broken my Snom ONE SOHO while attempting to take it from 4.5 to 5

 

I have tried everything but cant get a web interface up

 

I have opened port 80 and 8722 for web and SSH

 

MY IP Address is x.x.x.x and login details are default root and xxx

 

ANy help would be much appreciated
