    Sangoma 4.3.13

Finally got some help upgrading to the newest version of Sangoma firmware and 5 hours later with a lot of help from Snom support we found that if we alter the audio level in the gateway manager PSTN Config tab it wont let us dial out of the office. We tried every possible configuration and the only one that worked were the default audio level settings. Anyone else have this problem or am I just the lucky one? Would anyone care to venture a guess as to why this would effect the outgoing calls?
  2. Are there classes available either online or in some city that a person could attend to learn more about programming and using the Snom PBX software? The reason I ask is......I had this IP phone system project dropped in my lap and frankly its kicking my ass. I am having multiple problems and I really have no way of fixing things I dont understand or even have access to log in and look around. I have no access to the root directory on my Snom One Plus and I cannot update the firmware on my Sangoma A200 card. I am almost to the point that I will have to remove this system because we cannot be without phones and our customers cant get through to us on a consistent basis. the entire phone system locks up and callers cannot get through all they hear is a partial ring then immediate disconnect. I would love to learn more about this pbx and I have a lot of questions since this is the first time I have ever set up an IP PBX. Thanks for any information possible
  3. and now this error message Failed to resolve hostname of "From" URI sip:anonymous@anonymous.invalid
  4. Yes, I created a new AA and I still couldnt get the files to playback I will try the link you posted, thanks
  5. I am sure it should work.....but it doesnt. Any ideas?
  6. Thanks Mr X that seems to have fixed the original problem BUT Now I am getting this error message call-id=1367586618-725493-2042217215-157 B-Channel(b1(B1 - A200_analog)ai2(B1I2)-c1) [WAIT_FOR_DIAL_TONE] Timeout in state WAIT_FOR_DIAL_TONE
  7. I am running the G 711u codec on the Snom One Plus but I cant find the codec on the A200. Where do you find that on the gateway?
  8. This is the second time in 2 days I have got this error message. First of all...what does it mean and how do I correct this from happening again? call-id=1367266595-582236-1887658390-109 Channel[b1(B1 - A200_analog)ai1(B1I1)-c1]; State[CALL_OFFERED] Could not start early media since inboundCallHandling connectInboundSide condition is not set to ON-OUTBOUND-SIDE-MEDIA-AVAILABLE. Please change this paramter to that value in the pstn configuration file if you want to let the early media flowing beetween the pstn and sip sides When our customers call in the phone doesnt ring, it just immediately disconnects the caller. This has been working for 2 weeks and now all of a sudden two days in a row it has this glitch Any ideas?
  9. I have tried to record messages to my IVR directly from my phone. My AA is 5000 I dial: *985000*1 Record my message and the file shows up under current file, but it will not playback. I click on the play button and it doesnt work, it doesnt work when calling into the AA just dead air.
  10. I have a Snom One Plus and I am running a Sangoma A200 gateway. The incoming audio is very low especially on the 821 phones I have. (I also have 870s....the problem is still there just not as bad) I cannot get the Sangoma A200 card to auto calibrate. I believe the firmware needs to be upgraded but I cant get anyone to help me with that. I would try it but I dont have root access to my Snom One Plus. Is there anyway to increase the incoming audio level or is it the 821 phone itself? I have tried raising the from PSTN audio level on the A200 card its at +12 right now and if its doing anything its minimal. Any suggestions? This problem is killing my business and has been for a week. I have emailed Snom and Sangoma about the problem and have had very half assed response.......both are telling me its the other persons problem. HELP

Mr X, It still says the calibration fails......I think you may have me confused with somebody else but thanks anyway!
  12. Pablo, I am assuming you mean the trunk would be the pipe on the Snom One or by phone you mean the Sangoma card? Sorry if thats a stupid question but I am pretty new to this. Thanks for the reply
  13. When I dial out to our office in ND their auto attendant comes on saying "if you know your parties extension you can dial at anytime" but I cant dial any extension. I have a Snom One Plus that I installed this past weekend. The auto attendant works when I use my cell phone. Any ideas?
  14. I just installed a Snom One Plus with 2 Sangoma A200 4FXO cards. I got this running Sunday and I couldnt get the auto calibration function to work. I have some people complaining about low incoming audio levels so I went the the Sangoma Gateway manager PSTN tab to adjust the level control. I changed the setting from -18 to -16 saved the setting, restarted the gateway and now I can hear people calling in but they cannot hear me. I reset the audio level back to -18 saved, restarted the gateway and still no outgoing audio? Any suggestions on how to get this fixed ASAP? Thanks, in advance AG1
  15. Thanks Mr X...............one more question for you. Do you set up your PBX on a separate network or do you just use the LAN the office is on? Good idea bad idea....pros cons? Since my cable modem has a firewall, should I DMZ my router so all the auto provisioning from the Snom One is passed and not blocked out for some reason? Any reason not to do this? Thanks in advance
  16. I plan on setting my Snom One with a static IP above the DHCP range on my router, then I was going to set static IPs for each of the 7 phones I plan on using. Is this a similar set up to what some of you are doing? Any draw backs or reasons why not to set this up that way? Any advice or tips would be helpful since this has been a brutal learning curve for my first IP phone set up.
  17. I registered an SIP trunk account with Nextiva and they tell me everything is set up correctly on their end. I think I have everything in the trunk setup filled in according to the snom one wiki but I am at a loss as to what the problem is regarding my trunk set up. This is the first time I have set this up so any help would be great. Thanks, Mike
  18. OK, I am currently working on my first installation using Snom products. I believe I have most of the initial set up using the local host pretty much in hand but I am having a problem visualizing the entire set up/network Is there a block diagram of sorts as to how all this goes together? Right now the way I am looking at this, the trunk setup is all done with software in the Snom One, as well as the individual phone ext and customization. The part I am having the most trouble with is on the internet side. If anyone knows or has time could they shoot me a post about that? My understanding is you set up an account with a VoIP provider and then interface that with the Snom One or am I wrong on all of this? Thanks in advance.
  19. I downloaded it from the link you provided, installed it and it worked. Damn I was getting worried that if I cant even get the software installed this might be over my head!!! lol Thanks, Pablo!
  20. It was on the thumbdrive that was included with the Snom one.....should I try downloading it from the link you provided?
  21. .......and that didnt work either.
  22. None of that worked Pablo, I am going to try reinstalling the software again
  23. Ok port 80 is open but I still cant access the service? Any ideas
  24. Hey guys, This is my first installation and configuration of Snom products. I have the software installed but when I open a browser and type in http://localhost I get the error message HTTP 404 Not found. I have added the program to my firewall list of programs allowed. I was reading on here that maybe apache took port 80 and to use port 8080......how do I change ports like that? I am using this software on Windows 7 (64 bit) Thanks for your help
