  1. Hi,

We are running the latest snom one centos 32bit.

I noticed this in the log file today: "Cannot send packet: No license"

I understand the snom one software "calls home" every so often to the snom licensing server - is that licensing server having problems today? This could be a major problem if my snom one can't send any packets then it can't process any calls.

We had snom convert our pbxnsip hosted license to a snom one license a few months back.

    Thanks

  2. The only way that I know of to transfer a call to another extension without ringing that extension is to put an 8 in front of the persons ext.

So if the persons ext is 345 you would press transfer then pres 8345 - sends caller directly into voicemail without ringing phone.

The 8 setting is in your Domain settings page called "Mailbox Direct Dial Prefix: 8"

  3. Matt - great review on your blog.

You mentioned the DTMF pad didn't seem to work for you, I haven't used the snom attendant console but I think the dtmf pad only works when your in an active call so that you can navigate an IVR.

  4. Hi,

We upgraded from pbxnsip to snom one a few days ago.

I have a client that is telling me "when we pick up a call using our headsets, we have to press the headset button on the snom 370 before we can answer the call. Used to be you didn't have to do that unless you had been on speaker immediately previously.".

So I guess after upgrading to snom one there must be something configured differently in the snom_3xx_phone.xml that wasn't in the pbxnsip version? I looked at a pbxnsip version and compared it to my snom one version but nothing jumps out at me.

Any idea what setting inside snom one that is now forcing my client to press the actual headset button on the snom 370 in order to answer a call?

The customers headset is a snom Headset HS-MM 2, plugged into the snom 370 phone.

    Thanks

  5. As an Admin in the Accounts screen at the bottom of the page you have "More Actions:" with a drop down selection of items. Can you add this option "Delete voice mail messages for selected extensions".

I know you have a "Cleanup the selected extensions" but that does a few things more then just delete the voice mail messages for an extension. I beleive it deletes the extension name, deletes the mailbox greetings etc.

We just want to select a bunch of extensions and have the pbx delete all the voice mail messages.

    Thanks

  6. Hi,

Since moving from pbxnsip to snom one I have noticed the media CPU usage graph a little higher then normal - even without people playing recordings via the web interface.

Can you look at this and tell me if this is normal?

Call port 134: Different Codecs (local nse/8000, remote g729/8000), callid b06fd3c8@pbx, falling back to transcoding

In the actual call log this call was an incoming call to a DID in the PBX. The call started at 10:13am lasted 6 minutes and ended at 10:19am - it looks like when the call was ending at 10:19am that's when the PBX wanted to do transcoding.

We have each trunk set to G729 first then G711 second.

    Thanks

  7. I think this is a bug!

On Monday may 23rd we upgraded from pnxnsip to snom one.

5 minutes ago my own employee is having this same issue. She received this email from the pbx:

"Dear (name removed): Your mailbox is full with 101 messages

Please read and delete existing voicemails from your mailbox.

Otherwise, people can not leave voice messages for you.

    -----

Do not reply to this Email. It was sent automatically."

I checked and she has no voicemail messages in her box. I tried calling her line and when it reached the pbx it states the mailbox is full and a message can't be left.

I know the other person in this thread solved the problem by setting the users mailbox to "unlimited" voice mail messages but my system for some reason doesn't have that option? It has a max messages value of 100. So as of right now my employee can't receive any voice mail messages.

My guess is still the same as my last post "the new version has a bug in it where it's counting the users call recordings in the system as voicemail messages and the voicemail max messages limit he was only allowed to have was 25 so thats why he got the email saying he reached his max limit but in fact has no vmails in his box."

    Again that's just my guess.

We have Domain call recording turned on, she is also part of a Sales Q which also records calls. She doesn't do any ad-hoc recording.

I need help fixing this ASAP.

    Thanks,

  8. We received a new key from Snom and upgraded from PBXNSIP 4.3 to the latest Snom One but our custom header image is not showing?

We have it in the same location as before "html/img/logo.jpg"

I also tried restarting the pbx but it still loads the snom one default header image. This is a hosted system and we need our custom header image to show again.

I also noticed in our PnP tab all we see is Snom pnp support - our new license key is suppose to allow all of the third party phones for PnP like in our PBXNSIP version. How do we turn that on in the web interface?

    Thanks,

  9. They specifcally state 20 for yellow on the 2nd reply in this previous Post. The post is for Beta Corona Austrinid release and leads me to believe there may be changes to blue. I wonder if the info on snom's website is wrong or the post.

Another post that says the restriction has widley been removed: Post 2

I believe yellow is 20 like you read in the other thread....the second thread you mentioned they were talking about now they even allow the "refer" to work with the third party devices - meaning the transfer feature....before with third party devices they didn't allow call transfer, you could do it but only via a * command - that thread confirms they lifted it so you can do call transfers with third party devices.

    so...

    free=5

    yellow=20

    blue=40

  10. Snom One Blue says that it has Unlimited Extensions.

Do they all need to be Snom phones?

If not, how many can be 3rd party phones like Grandstream, Aastra, Yealink etc can operate?

    40

snom ONE blue supports up to 40 of the following devices:

    ATA – For fax

    SIP video cameras

    Door entry systems

    Conferencing

    Soft phones

  11. If that number is 0, it is the same count being read when the dial in. So, they should be the same.

    Anyways, we will double check.

    Hi pbx support,

Did you have a chance to verify if this is a bug in the new SNOM ONE software?

I ask because we are planning on upgrading our PBXNSIP Hosted Pro + to the latest SNOM ONE version with a new license key that we just received.

    Thanks
