  1. Are you the end user or the PBX admin? If you are the end user, then your options are limited. But you are the admin, then use the 'admin' guide. Not the 'user' guide.

There is Admin->Settings->Keep CDR duration field that determines how long the CDRs will stay in the system.

I am the Admin. However I don't have "CDR duration field" under settings. Im running V: 2011-4.2.0.3950 (Win64)

  2. The call log page should already show you the external calls information. But there are couple of different methods on the PBX where you can get the CDRs out. The admin guide should have the information.

The user guide is hard to understand for people who don't do this on the daily basis. And the call log does not show more then just 1 last call. I also cant find a way to fix that.

  3. When I try to make an outbound call on Linkys phone all I see is session in progress. I look at call history and see that the trunk that call goes over is "PSTN Gateway" and not my VoIP provider that I added and is active. I look at the logs and don't see anywhere where it would pick the VoIP provider. How do I route outbound calls to them? Oh and i disabled the "PSTN gateway" and still same thing.

  4. I have to the Snom one Free running on a Mac and also on Windows vista (64). Whenever i try to upload the IVR prompt in .wav in (8 kHz Mono, 16 bit) I click on choose file the file appears and replaces "no file chosen" then i hit save and the file disappears. and thats it. It gets replaced with "no file chosen" Am I doing something wrong? Why are the files not saving?

  5. If this is a simple network, don't mess with routing on the machine.

First put your phone system IP address in the DMZ of your firewall. Next let’s login to pbxnsip and configure. Now we want to click on Settings, then Ports. Let’s set SIP IP Replacement List: with the IP address of the pbxnsip server separated by a forward slash then the public IP address of your WAN. Here is an example: 192.168.1.152/24.49.49.16.You can now click Save. you will have to restart pbxnsip service.

    try that.

    Mattlands,

You just made my day. Thank you!

  6. I just downloaded the Snom One Free (2011-4.2.0.3950 (Win64)). I got the PBX working fine when its on my public IP. However I cant figure out what parameters I have to set when its behind my router.

Here are my PC's network connection details. Can someone explain what I have to put in the PBX and where I have to put it?
