  1. One user is getting two emails everytime he has a missed call, it only happens to him, nobody else. He does have 3 identitys on his phone, but the emails are saying ext 255 the emails are exactly the same and going to the same ext.

    Any ideas how I can stop him from getting 2 emails? Figures it happens to him the President of the company!!

    Good luck with getting help on this. I posted a very similar question weeks ago and still now replies. Hope someone relies to you though.

  3. We've been getting some compliants and ever I notice when I call it takes a little time to get the ring back. However this is only on Snom phones because when I use x-lite it rings right away. The only difference is that Snom phones are using tls and x-lite aren't. How can I remove the tls if using PnP? I know its something little my users wants instant ring back when available otherwise they don't think the call is going anywhere.

    Just removed the TLS in the PnP and rebooted and call still hangs on Snom vs. x-lite.

  5. We've setup a test domain for prospects to use and give them a limit on the cost to us. I want to allow a a few people to call 2 different countries to test with family. I have setup the following in their dial plan. They have no problems with calling domestically just these.

    011380* -> *

    011972* -> *

    I also tried

    011380* -> left blank

    011972* -> left blank

    They should be able to call anywhere within these countries.

    Thanks...

  6. What would the method be to do this?

    Create a domain how you wish it to be setup and then go back to the root list of domains and click the edit button on the domain you wish to clone/replicate. Once in the edit menu towards the bottom you'll see something that says "To save the domain, click here." This will create a .tar file you can then use when making a new domain.

    Hope this is clear. If not send me a private message and I'll give you my number.

  7. I would either clone the whole configuration of the PBX (if it was a single domain setup) or get a domain backup and then restore the config on the new server or create a new domain from the domain backup. Then after the restoration, delete what is not needed any more.

    You actually have to do more if you don't want to lose the recordings for the extensions that have DIDs in them. If you just clone the domain and use it when creating a new one you will have to re-record everything over again. I've figure out that you can remove the DIDs from the original domain and then clone and put back in the new domain the DIDs to the extension and all records don't get erased. This is because the system will not allow you to create extension with multiple DIDs and therefore it would strip them when importing the template.

    I worked a couple of hours on playing with this and got it working this way with out having to re-record all greatings and AAs.

  8. We have a large doctors office who is splitting off into two separate offices and they don't want to have to re-record their voicemail greetings, directory names, agent groups and auto attendants. Is something like this possible in a hosted deployment?

    We figured it out. If anyone is interested send me a private message and then we can get numbers and I can walk you through it. It's a bit step oriented.

  9. When I want to create a new Domain I see the option "Create From File"

    Can I use an existing file to do this and then make changes to the newly created Domain?

    Also, what would be the name of that file?

    Thanks

    Yes, you can use this feature to make different default templates for different scenarios you might have. Hope this helps.

  10. I have a few doctor office that all have multiple offices. I'll use 1 for an example for this

    Medical Practice

    Office1 w/ co1 co2 co3 co4 / Dial plan is office1

    Office2 w/ co5 co6 co7 co8 / Dial plan is office2

    Office3 w/ co9 co10 co11 co12 / Dial plan is office3

    Huntgroups (HG)

    HG1 w/ 9255131111

    HG2 w/ 9255132222

    HG3 w/ 9255133333

    CO lines work fine for outbound calls but don't show incoming calls and when placed on hold the lines don't light up and flash. We have the trunk groups as SIP gateways as we couldn't get the registration to work on the nextone for some reason. Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks inadvanced for any advise.

  11. For call between domain, there is something called "Try loopback"under the dialplans. See whether that suffices your requirement.

    There isn't any loop back in the dial plains and that would only affect the dial plan. I found it after doing some real searching and it's called "Accept Redirect" to yes instead of the default trunk setting of no.

  12. Ok, then why when I called after hearing nothing and calling from my cell did it give me a busy signal??? The call was probably terminated because I or the client couldn't hear anything. Never rings or anything. When calling from cell it also never rings but we get busy signal audio.

  13. I have had some compliants that calls aren't completing but when I check the calls are receiving 487 Request Terminated which I believe is a busy signal because when I call that is what I get from my cell. This is something that has been haunting me for weeks.

    Please let me know how we can provide busy signal audio for this.

  14. Does their DHCP server provison a NTP server? Many phones will take that server over the privisioned server. If you can look into the log of the phone maybe you can see what NTP server the phone uses.

    If that was happening all the phones would at least have the same time but they don't. I will check a few phone just in case I'm wrong. Thanks

  15. We have a hosted environment and 1 company's time is totally off and all phones don't have the same time. No phone shows a date either. All other companies work fine and even another branch on this company is working as normal. I can have them ping both pool.ntp.org and north-america.pool.ntp.org and get replies with no errors. Has anyone else seen anything like this? Their times and dates where working weeks ago and nothing on our end has really changed. Thanks for any input.

  16. how do i import contacts into a customers address book? where is that feature? i see where i can add one by one? but where can i bulk import?

    Domain -> Settings -> Address Book

    From there you will see the csv import area. If you give me your email in private maessage I can email your the template.

  17. This should be a very easy fix. When deleting an account within a domain the warning screen comes up asking if we are sure we want to delete but DOESN'T give the extension/account that we click on to really confirm this. This has happened before with a domain and I actually deleted a whole production domain on accident. I hope I'm not just an idiot here that has done this before and thinks there should be some more precautions.
