  1. Hi,

Since we upgraded to Snom 5.0.10, We are using Polycom phone version Bootblock 3.0.0.0024 Bootrom 5.0.3.1667, polycom version 4.0.3.7562. When someone call into the system and call a different extention we used to see on our screen who is calling which extension. Now, when someone calls in, we see that ext light blinking but the screens go blank.

Let me know if you have a solution for us.

  2. You mean in the auto attendant? That can be done with *98<AA-Number>. If you are calling from outside, you need to make it either into the private virtual assistance for your cell phone where you can dial a number (incl. star codes) or go to your mailbox. In the mailbox main menu, you can also dial star codes.

My extension is my virtual assistant, but it seems that the *98 code only works on a registered phone. I tried calling in and going to my voice mail, and dialing *98ext it didn't work.

  3. Hi,

Does anyone know of a way i can record remotely a IVR? I am trying to setup a message that when you call in you can listen to it, but i want the administrator to be able to call the main number and rerecord the main message at any time.

Any suggestions, i would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

  4. We were using PBXNSIP V. 4.2 till recently. we upgraded to version 4.5.1090 of SnomOne. We have over hundred polycom phones registered, and we noticed that since the new version we cannot forward calls. ( we tested this on a couple of servers) When a call comes in, you pick up the phone, you hit transfer, extension number, then transfer again. The other extension cannot press answer(button), it keeps on blinking and the call goes to voice mail, as if you didn't pick up the phone. This is a huge issue for us actually, and hope this will be fixed soon.

However, to go past this issue. when you pick up a call, hit transfer, extension number, WAIT TILL THE CALEE ANSWERS, then hit transfer again.

If you figure this out and have a solution, please reply.

    Thanks,
